The elephant had to wait 6 hours in pain for a vet to fly in to do the job.

I'm calling "Bullshit!" on this.

The in-house vet was away at the time - but you can bet your bippy all the equipment needed to tranquilise the elephant and dig out the bullet was right there in his clinic.

Don't get me started.

6 hours of agony while these idiots waited for another idiot to drop out of the sky who never thought to tell them by phone the simple things they needed to do.

ie How much tranquilliser would be needed. etc.

I give thanks to the wonderful care he got...my daughter has seen first hand the care they give these animals...and its wonderful.....so you contribute to keeping them safe and healthy herb.. I can send you a link to where you can send money???????..perhaps then they will be able to afford two vets
