Nah, my wife says (this is her cause, not mine) that they are worse than the communists she grew up with. ... the barnevernets funding depends on how many kids get displaced. All the solicitors, psychologists and social workers that oversee everything are all 'in house' which means that the barnevernet is accountable to no one. Norway has more people working for the barnevernet than it has police officers, and each one knows that their funding depends on how many kids they remove. This will end up Norways 'stolen generation. Some of the reasons given for removing kids from their families are - bread was sliced to thick - Omelette wasn't to the social workers standard - kids were overheard singing a religious song so parents accused of 'religious indoctrination' - Dad was charged with some misdemeaner as a 13 yr old, so when he had a kid 10 years later, he was deemed unfit The barnevernet itself admits only 10% of kids removed were done so because of abuse. |

It's worse than that. They're taking kids away for absolutely NO reason. Once they take them away, you have absolutely NO recourse except to take it to the courts, which can take years and cost a fortune. Until then you see your kids for 2hrs a month, supervised. One family, the Bodnariu family, had 5 kids removed, including a 3 month old that was breastfeeding, just because one of the daughters was singing what was deemed a religious song, in the school playground. The family were well off, the mother a pediatric nurse, the father an IT expert with traffic control at the airport. But they were originally from Romania. At first they thought it was an honest mistaken and they would get their kids back, but it's now been 6 months despite they getting tested by independent psychiatrist and social workers as great parents. Those social workers and psychiatrist don't count. The courts in Norway will only consider the evidence of the Barnevernets own in house experts. In this particular case, the baby was ordered given back to the family last month, but the other 4 kids are still being kept away. |

For those who are interested, some of the official reasons given by Norways Child Protection Services can be found here
http://www.mhskanland.net/page10/page122/page122.html I'll pick out some of the more absurd ones, but there are to many to list them all. Even then, the list on the link is not a complete list. (3) Clean clothes are not placed in 'military order' in the cupboard. (5) The child looks eagerly at strangers around it and smiles at them. This means that it is not attached to its mother. [The mother stood talking to some people after visiting the social security office, while the baby in the pram looked eagerly at people around it.] (9) The father has a foot injury and cannot stand on a ladder. Therefore he is not able to clean the top of the window frames. (18) When visiting the children the grandmother wanted to embrace them. The CPS had to stop that, since it can create an unwanted attachment. (31) The daughter does not like fish-balls. This is a clear sign of incest. :D :D (41) The boy's parents fail in their care for him; they do not give him enough to eat. [The mother of one of the boy's friends noticed that he ate a great deal of cake when he visited her son in their home, and she reported this to the CPS as a cause for worry.] 53) When the child fell over, the mother just picked her up and put her back on her feet, without comforting her verbally. [The little girl had not cried and was not unhappy. She was just beginning to walk and often fell over without hurting herself.] (63) The mother is clumsy when using the tin-opener. [Statement by a psychologist.] (68) The parents are too concerned with the child and over-protect it. [Cf (67).] |

It's sad, and I know it's unbelievable, but every single one of those reasons was an actual real life excuse used by Norways child protection services. I can give you a link to a facebook page with a father in Norway who had his kids taken, if you like.. That link I gave with the excuses is from a professor at University of Bergen in Norway, she has acted an an expert witness in various court cases against the Barnevernets |

They built this Barnevernet upside down. How are they supposed to get a paycheck if they aren't abducting children.
Same as policemen's 'quotas' for arrests. The system needs to track you doing your job so you can get paid. What incentive is there to ever properly solve a problem if its your bread and butter? :-/ |

Been warning you for decades now that socio-fascists working for your good are as bad as, if not worse than, real Fascists, who tend more towards the FuhrerPrinzip rather than the Mandate Of Protecting The Majority.....
Obviously this lot are ensuring that these children's best interests are taken care of just in case grannie turns out to be Norman Bates' mother in disguise or something..... can't be too sure with parents you know... dad not doing the top of the windows is a certain sign... and those fish cakes.... WOW... a clear sign... Now go backwards about forty years to the point where The Rot began to set in..... not too hard to find... |
