I had him pegged as a silly old socialist to start with but he's a New Dealer not a socialist.
And he's a fighter. And he gives enthusiasm to the young people.
I like that.
Not that I think he has any chance against the Clinton machine and the corrupt Dem party.
But at least he might wear her down a bit and that's a good thing.

I personally have my doubts about Hillary so it would be interesting if he did win.

Actually Bernie would attract a lot of disaffected Republicans that wouldnt vote Clinton if Trump is the nominee!

Although I gather he is more a leftie which might cancel that idea out

Only people that hope the US becomes a third world basket case nation would want Bernie to win, but that is a lot of people, 95% of muslims would vote Bernie  :D

In fact I think Trump is a bit of a New Dealer, in the sense that he will want to harness the nation's resources in a program of renewal. Keynesian economics.

Bernie is winning the Washington state election with 73% but it will be interesting to see how many of the 118 delegates he gets.
What's the bet Clinton gets at least half if not more

I don't see how Bernie could win the election. Maybe someone can explain.

Sanders himself never intended to be the candidate. That much is clear.

He is a message candidate - to create a movement to send the establishment a clear message about the need to change the corrupt way in which the Democratic party as well as US politics in general is run. He is forcing Clinton to take notice and at least pay lip service to his demands. Now the movement is created and has clear momentum, a future President Clinton, as well as future democratic candidates will be faced with a damaging backlash if they don't follow through on the reforms Bernie's movement demands.

In short, by rallying ~35-40% of the democrats behind him, his mission is well and trully accomplished.

I hope people change their minds & vote for Bernie.

He's the only candidate that talks any sense.
