well, its that time of year again for our big insurances to all come in at once..  :(

i'll have to do something about that...

but every year, you guys already know.. our insurances go up..

why?

our home insurance went up by over $100.. turns out they lifted the value of our home by $14,000  :o

so I went to compare the market .com.au and got a quote..

I'm with Budget Direct who are excellent.. anyways.. I do an online quote and Budget Direct beats my current insurance with them by over $100  :o

the mrs car insurance is up as well although market value is going down each year.. I do a quote online and Wollies beats Budget Direct by $99...

so I ring them up and tell them that I'm not happy .. we redo all of our insurances and low and behold I receive a $200 Plus Refund...

so then I also took out car insurance for my new car as well...

every year check these insurance costs and challenge them with a simple "calm" phone call..

by having better quotes already to tell them about will make them drop their pants.. I was even able to give them their OWN quote number that beat my current home insurance by over $100 so that they could look it up for themselves..

you don't get rich by giving your money away... get back every cent you can..

Have you had a quote from defence service homes insurance Mech?   They have chosen Allianz but they are very competitive.  They now insure everything - not just homes and contents as they used tro.     I have had a few major house insurance claims over the years and the sevice from DSH cannot be faulted.
