Title: The Warrior Djokovic vs British empire. Post by athos on Feb 1st, 2016 at 8:12am
The Warrior Djokovic vs British empire.
https://www.rt.com/sport/330775-djokovic-wins-australian-open/ It happened again the king of tennis and European warrior Djokovic defeated full stadium of hostile Anglo crowd and their icon Murray in the middle of a British colony called Australia. For an independent observer it was unpleasant to watch uncultured spectators who used any chance to display their dislike of Djokovic. While in US open and Wimbledon and Melbourne he was virtually abused by primitive spectators in Roland Garros Novak Djokovic received a very emotional, half an hour, standing ovation when he got his trophy after losing against Stanislas Wawrinka in the 2015 final. On the other hand in China, India, Europe and rest of the world he is by far the most popular tennis player, except in Anglosaxon countries. So the problem is not in Djokovic but in something much more serious which is Anglsaxon’s arrogance and primitive racism that dislikes Djokovic. When Djokovic was 12 yo US and British Anglo alliance heavily bombarded his city Belgrade, schools were closed and Novak was happy because he could practice tennis instead going to school (He told 60 minutes ABC). Those days the bombardment was very heavy, the bombs hit The Main Serbian broadcast TV station and killed many journalists, Chinese Embassy was targeted, where Embassy staff was killed and hospital was hit where new born babes vanished in flame. While Djokovic’s parents were hiding in the underground shelter Novak was practicing tennis not so far from where bombs hit the targets. Now you can understand how tough he could be in any circumstances. And now every time when fearless Djokovic beats them on the tennis court he remembers their missiles falling around him while he was mastering backhand in his schoolyard and every time he tells them I didn’t give a dam about your bombs why should I be concerned about your lack of love for me. In his latest interview to European press Boris Becker, Djokovic’s coach, commented on hostile reception that Djokovic received from hostile Anglo-Saxon crowed by saying: “He (Djokovic) is very mentally tough, the real warrior in his heart, and as much as they are against him he appears stronger. It seems that he has ability to convert their hatred in to additional positive energy for him”. Even if Djokovic is so generous and deliberately loses against Murray Anglosaxons will still fill prejudice and dislike him maybe because of the same reason that they dislike others. Yes the problem is that Djokovic is a European gentleman and cold rational Anglosaxon training is incompatible with European culture and particularly with Djokovic's warm human Slavic mentality. In Melbourne the British colony Australia overweeningly supported Murray, it was the order given by their head of state her majesty Queen. But it didn’t help, again Djokovic defeated them all with the heart of a fearless warrior, European culture and Spatanic determination. |

More like Machine Man vs Artistry.
No place in tennis now for artistry. Rosewall, Federer, Hewitt are creatures of the past. Robotic Power Rules OK. |

I guess Murray has been very creative so far. So tell me. If Djokovic is just a "machine" man how come he's managed to beat undisputed Federer and Nadal if he didn't bring something new and creative in tennis game. With your comment you just confirm how your irrational negative emotions towards Djokovic prevent you to think logically rationally. Yes typical colonial herd mentality. |

No, you're wrong athos. Can you handle that.
I have nothing personal against him nor the Serbian people. It's just the style of play I don't like. Robotic power . There have been a line of players like that in the past too, he's just the ultimate development. There was a Croatian player, can't remember his name, he had power but style with it. Djokovic is just boring to watch for me. |

No in accordance with Australian official speech after the match Djokovic is actually a German. Problem with those arrogant closet Poms is that you never know if they are ignorant or cynical. |

Novak Djokovic is the face of tennis today and hopefully well into the future.
A true professional and sportsman at his craft. Felt sorry for Murray, but he'll live to fight another day. Novak is a shining light for professional sportsmen and women the world over. |

Title: Djokovic is a great champion. Post by Panther on Feb 1st, 2016 at 12:35pm Ajax wrote on Feb 1st, 2016 at 12:10pm:
I like Novak. Why? He plays hard, & he plays determined, & above all he respects his opponents & his sport. He has done the best he can do with what talent he has been given. His sportsmanship is commendable, & he is an an overall likable guy. People that drop the race card, as in the original post, for nonsensical reasons should be spayed or neutered like the curs they are, for it is their kind that makes accomplishments by this gifted athlete difficult for the athlete......yes, the athlete, & not those that might unreasonably wish him ill. A future without those kinds of mangy racial crybabies would be a good future for us all! |

Australian Open: When will we learn to love Djokovic?
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/sport/the-times-sport/australian-open-when-will-we-learn-to-love-djokovic/news-story/da440429f37c1c6066981b7c3180ecfd He is a decent man, an assiduous husband, courteous in his actions, beloved by his countrymen, and now, having won an 11th grand-slam title, including five out of the past six, one of the finest players to have flicked a racket. And yet he still plays with crowds fiercely against him: at Wimbledon, New York, and, once again, in Melbourne, where he won a sixth Australian Open yesterday in imperious fashion. It raises the question: when will the world learn to love Novak Djokovi |

what on earth are you on about Athos.
Djokovic is universally liked and is a real comedian. He is a crowd favourite. Murray has a history of faking injuries and has constructed a cry baby narrative around himself. to a man, all the "real" australians i know were behind Djokovic. Add to this Murrays sheer arrogance with the ball boys and Djokovic's really good manners. :) :) |

I don't mind Djokovic but man tennis has become boring and predictable now. It was like when Federer was dominating from 2004-2008. The only real debate these days is who wins the French, unfortunately it looks on lock that Djokovic has the other three. Glad I put $1000 on him to win the tournament.
I won't even mention the travesty that is women's tennis. |

Q: How can you tell if a sport is corrupt?
A: Can you place a bet on it? |

That's hillarious. So you put a thousand on Williams? She made more out of losing!!!!!! ;D Edit: Imagine being Williams with the power to win or lose. The temptation would be just too much. Tennis was made for corruption, just one person, no team to pay off. Hitting the ball out is normal! |

The metal of a true champion is how well he can overcome adversity.....They hated McEnroe, many had disdain for Becker, & Jimmy Connors too.........Many even went to Pete Sampres' matches, & from start to end only wished him to lose.....they all won regularly despite who did or didn't like them....they were champions. Nothing new in any of that ..... I myself despise Andy Murray. I don't like his attitude or personality, but that's just me ,,,,, now.........If he was playing Lleyton Hewitt in the finals, any finals, I wonder if I would be alone..... JFYI.....there's plenty.....millions, I'd say, that like Novak....& many, many too that absolutely love him. ;) Get over it......stop this pity party for Novak ...... he's perfectly happy.....rich too! My money's on him being the first tennis player ever to break the $100 Million USD earnings mark. ;) |

I didn't watch the tennis but I caught a sports report and I respected Novak for honoring Rod Laver and Roy Emerson
"I am extremely honored to be mentioned with the legends of our sports like Rod Laver, who is present tonight," Djokovic said. "Roy Emerson, who is not here tonight, it is a great privilege to equal your record of six Australian Opens." http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/sports/2016/01/31/djokovic-dominates-murray-ties-emerson-with-6-australian-open-titles/ |
