Title: Who is at work today ? Post by Leftwinger on Jan 26th, 2016 at 12:06pm
Well?
I expect all the right wing loonies are as they would look a bit silly enjoying a paid PH whilst criticising the unions that gave it to them :D |

I thought it was called FLEXITIME, where you stay a bit longer than standard hours at work each day to build up a credit so you can take a day off every now and then. |

I would say exactly wrong or they would be pushing for triple time on Public Holidays and double and a half for Sundays. One of the main drivers for removing penalty rates is that conservatives almost never work them. |

PS employees almost all require a certificate to take yesterday off. they would have had better attendance rates than many private companies. |

Ditto. I went into the office for about an hour, just to sort out some media issues (and to organise a party on the roof for later tonight). I have a reasonable view of the fireworks, and a few families with kids are coming in to take in the spectacle. Not really interested myself. |

Clearing out the house to go into storage..... woman complaining how tired she is of it all... guess who does all the running around and the lifting......
Reward - lashings of hot tongue and cold shoulder for dinner. Time to crack a beer. Went down to the waterfront and ate flathead and chips... local cops, who know me from the bus.. pulled a guy over... cop got out and asked, "Do you always talk on your mobile phone with a police car behind you?" Raking it in - double demerits and double penalty. Eight points and $319 x 2 for public holiday. Jay-zuz - some have more money than sense...... |
