we usually miss these BIG guys.. but today its been threatening on and off now its hitting...big time...very loud and heavy rain and large hail..

hope everyone is home and safe..

We usually look in amazement at the storms hitting Sydney, not that this is in the same league. ( I hope)

It is a nasty! Eldest niece has water in the main bedroom, youngest niece has hail stuffed back verandah roof. Also.....to make their night....no power.

MacArthur and Fadden hit very badly...other suburbs have also experienced 'significant' damage. No one reported hurt.

alls good where I am...but it is still raining...did anyone see the Australian of the Year ceremony no plan B obviously...it was good though the speeches all very nice..Well done everyone.

Sounds like the worst of the storm might have just hit a few suburbs rather than the whole of the ACT. One of my daughters lives in Belconnen and she tells me that all they got there was a lot of rain.

all good now though thats the thing about this place the storms dont last long...we are pretty lucky that way..
