this will be a case like the Greedy Car Manufacturers..
they will do themselves out of a job and then cry for the government (tax payer) for subsidies to help top up their greedy wages etc etc etc the more electricity goes up the more going OFF GRID is looking good... |

Greed is good except when it is employees being greedy. ::) :)
Then, brown coal is a filthy fuel, bet the power station workers suffer from respiratory problems etc. |

Coal fired generators spew out particulate emissions and heavy metals (mainly uranium and cadmium) and cause respiratory problems for people living in the area where the power station is. I try to keep my footprint on the planet light, don’t drive gas guzzlers etc etc. I always pay to have the emissions from the plane carrying me offset and I garden in a way that builds up soil carbon. What do you do cods? The Libs are the ones throwing money at “it” i.e. GHG emissions, the waste and pork barrel known as Direct Action. Labor’s ETS was a market based mechanism and GHG emissions have predictably risen since the ETS was rescinded by thug Abbott and his lapdog Hunt. |
