Title: What to do when Ozpolitic goes offline Post by Sir Bobby on Jan 20th, 2016 at 6:34am
We're finally back online.
Freediver did explain it on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OzPolitic There was also polanimal search Google for: Political animal Australia (the link won't work on Ozpolitic ) & aussipolitics: http://aussiepolitics.proboards.com/ I posted in all 3 to try & find out what was going on. The problem was hostgator. |

Thanks Bobby
I will now promptly forget all that by the next occasion it goes down. Perhaps Freediver might add those to the home page which was still working. BTW Freediver what actually happened in laymans terms. Corrupted data base? |

Thanks Aussie - I didn't know about the fairbloodydinkim forum. We need to have a reserve site for whenever Ozpolitic goes down. |

No worries. Bookmark both my site and Monks as life rafts. Neither site (his/mine) is in competition with the other, and there is different membership. I acquired mine from the bloke who created it. He is on his last legs, and I sort of promised to keep it going for him and his Members. |

Thanks Aussie- I have all 4 sites bookmarked & as Icons on my screen. You have to remember that yahoo politics went offline forever. I informed the members there to come here & they did. It's always good to have a backup site. |

Mr Freediver, I could sell you my test site address www.ozpoliticssux.com which is currently not being used.
I am saving it up until the election is announced for resurrection going cheap! |

Okay.....enough. I've deleted posts which might get several Members into unnecessary conflict with the GMods. SN......if you want to push that issue...take it to another Board.

If you people want to refer to a place the GMods have specifically decreed must not be referred to, do it on some other Member Run Board. I will not host it here.

Yeas. PN and Hicks made the declaration. All I am trying to achieve is moving the discussion to some other part of OzPol which I cannot be tied to. I've had enough of the crap, probably just as much as PN and Hicks have. |
