Title: List of agencies applying for metadata access Post by John Smith on Jan 18th, 2016 at 2:44pm
Over 60 govt departments have applied for access to metadata. I'd copy the list on here but it won't let me.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-01-18/government-releases-list-of-agencies-applying-to-access-metadata/7095836 Why the hell do departments like "Greyhounds Victoria', Dept. of mines, taxi service commission, Harness racing NSW ' etc etc need access to our metadata? I thought it was to stop the terrorists. It seems it's just another way to spy on the public. |

It would be a disgrace for any of those agencies mentioned to be allowed any access what so ever but then again I think most realised that it never had anything to with terrorism.
