Doesnt seem like its just Labor who like a bit of undeclared backhanders , looks like we roll on with the RC to stamp this out . Its about time the taxpayer funded parties election campaigns and all political donations were banned , might have a chance of having policy decisions that help the average joe instead of big corporations . |

There is an explanation for the Greens. According to my friend who was working for the Greens at the last election, for 99% of the campaign the party was running on essentially completely empty coffers, not a cent to spare and could only afford a single ad in either Melbourne or Sydney to run in a single bloc.
Then they suddenly got quite a windfall in like the last week, I remember my friend saying "Holy crap this would have been useful a month ago, useless now". Also another thing is 99% of people who work for the Greens are temp volunteers. |

Agreed. The tax-payer shouldn't be paying for anyone's election campaign. Its time wrote on Jan 9th, 2016 at 3:00pm:

union fee's? If you want to join a union you pay the fee's, after all that's capitalism isn't it? :D :D ... banning unions from making political donations I have no problem with as long as it applies to everyone and not just unions. |
