Here is a great Firefox addon.

This weather app warns you when rain is currently nearing. Instead of forecasting it warns using almost real-time data, which is more precise than any forecast can be.

Comes complete with an audible thunder sound as rain approaches

It is FUN ... sitting here on Firefox, minding my own business, mind in neutral, and suddenly ..... the sound of THUNDER coming through the speakers. I'm still waiting for the RAIN to come though ......... ;D
