Seriously, what is the point of the Record Abuse Here thread? You're not allowed to comment on it, just re-post "abusive" things other posters have said to you.

It's just turning into a big cry-fest for some of oz-pol's more delicate (or trolling) souls. A solid proportion of the re-posts are simply points the recipient has recognised the hidden truth in, and taken offence. Seriously?

Does anyone actually care about the thread? Does anyone still read it? More importantly, does anyone see the so-called abuse and think, harrumph! It's time to take action against Poster X. Of course not.

I'm starting this thread to see if I'm the only one who things that thread is a worthless screen hog. I'd much rather see something important being bumped than (say) another of greggary's whinges that soren's bullying him.

I post the abuse, the strand and the reply number - so as to make it easy for the Mods to track down the abuse.  I think that approach has genuine merit.

I do this because of the recent prolonged abuse and personal attack I have endured from You Know Who, and also from the same person in another forum in the past, when 'he' tried the same thing.

I still say we need a permanent poster as GMod with power to stop abuse in its tracks.
