I'm not sure what your point is? That ISIS are terrible? I don't think many doubt that.

If they feel it's right - then it is right, and he/she who holds the gun holds the power.  That's why I long ago referred to the modern ideology of justifying sanction of the court on a 'feeling' of the accuser as being Feminist Sharia Law.

If boil down to the basics, then its pretty much about a minority group of figureheads in the ISIS controlling majority of underlings, using an ideology (which is infallable - to them), and other means of control.  Such groups do not need justification to kill, because its followers had been too brain washed or their own experience too traumatic to allow any sort of rational thought. 

In its essence, its using its perverted and distorted belief system to oppress and control the general population, killing off the dissenters. 

To combat this ideology, the solution is not to replicate their form of methodology here, by we prosecuting and marginalizing the innocent. a few shining example involved 'dear leaders" Ms Pauline Hanson and Mr Cory Bernadi.  The solution is rather to unify under pressure, under threats of violence, to allow reason and rational thought process to prevail.  Only then, we can avoid an all out war.

Well that is the very question ISIS is putting to the world at large!

They are daring us to unite around a cause, as they have stated their cause to which they want others to unite around them, and may the chips fall where they may!

Just a thought... the idea of having young IS adherents cutting off heads with a knife is very reminiscent of the Mafia 'making your bones'.

Show your true faith by unflinchingly cutting off the head of the Infidel.

How else would a sane person come at doing such a thing?
