Title: Now this will bug IS
Post by bogarde73 on Nov 14th, 2015 at 3:14pm
Apparently plans are well under way, when circumstances permit, to replace the ancient monuments blown up by IS.

Sites like the temples in Palmyra can be recreated by 3D printing section by section and using a simulated ancient stone substance that is difficult to tell from the original.

All that propaganda for Allah may go for nothing.

With Australia trading with Saudi Arabia and so indirectly funding IS, IS can afford another attack on Palmyra.

Surely a trade boycott against Saudi Arabia is the best way of protecting people and monuments.

So you are more interested in Saudi oil compared to terror attack after terror attack, after terror attack.
I new those were crocodile tears of children dying. It's all about the money with you.

Since we should be confronting peak oil, seems like the perfect time to start adjusting our behaviour. Be in how we use and source it ... and what we fund with the cash we hand over.

Australia continual funding of terror will result in Paris like attacks here. That's a certainty.

Oil cash funds terrorist attacks. If you don't understand the link then I suggest you cut the donkey label. It could come back and kick you in the butt.

Saudi Arabia funds most of the global terrorism.
Either we all accept our money is being used to kill on a mass scale, or we cut the money to the terrorists.

Time for Turnbull to boycott Saudi Arabia.

The free world cannot allow Saudi Arabia to keep nurturing, creating and fomenting terrorists.

Saudi Princes are running drugs to fund terrorists while they behead their own subjects for drug use and trafficking.

You say silly things, much like your wife used to. Now try to stay focussed.

I live in reality dear.

We are fighting in Iraq and Syria. We have caused a shambles, people are disenfranchised and that creates reactionary forces, funded by the west in an effort to conquer certain ME countries.

Actions have consequences.

We are all vulnerable now, get used to it.

The truly sad thing is that you are stupid enough to believe that. Please be in the firing line if it ever happens here. Your last thoughts will be the first correct one you've had in a long time.

Yes.
America vowed in 1951 to protect Wahhabism in return for Saudi Oil.
IS grew out of that US protected.

USA and Australia still protect Wahhabism and fund it via trade with Saudi Arabia.
Australia has french blood on it's hands today.

I don't think I can agree with the idea that "IS" is bugged by anything. They are destructive, but I doubt they keep score. Kill this person, smash that object and move on. A score would be too rational.

I must agree with Greens to some extent that the house of Saud shields fanatics for no other reason than to keep themselves bathed in petro-dollars. A united Western response after 9-11, with a serious demonstration would have sent them whimpering into their tents. That was impossible in societies that have forgotten what Shakespeare said about war.

Only today Australia's security agency leaders are telling the government that as a result of the Paris attacks new strategies will have to be allowed for and legalised if Australians are to be better protected against a repetition in our own major cities.

And what does this tell us?

It tells us that our politicians have for 'politically correct' reasons - and so as not to agitate paranoid 'sensitivities' amongst our Muslim colonists - been holding back on putting into place laws and strategies for dealing with an emergency such as Paris has just experienced.

Something that should have been done ages ago.

And this endless crawling by our politicians to 'Muslim leaders' to kiss their arse at city mosques every time a new 'Islamist' incident occurs - has to stop.

The general public votes at election time to put certain individuals into our Canberra parliament - we do not go to the polls to drop a vote into the ballot box for which Muslim leaders should have their arse kissed every time a government decision needs to be made to protect us from people of the Muslim community.

Did America support the so-called rebels in Syria?

If it's any consolation, it is very unlikely that IS have actually destroyed many of the artifacts like they have claimed.  The Nazi's did the same thing with Jewish antiquities during WWII, which is make a public spectacle destroying things while simultaneously putting them on the black market to raise money.
