The head of the NSW Fire Brigade Employees Union has emerged as the likely candidate to represent the Greens in the key Sydney seat of Grayndler.

The potential move of Labor's longtime Grayndler MP Anthony Albanese into neighbouring Barton has moved the inner-west electorate to the top of the Greens' target list at the next election.

Jim Casey, a former member of the International Socialist Organisation and state secretary of the FBEU has declared his candidacy for preselection in a YouTube video.

The PPL improved productivity and helped to break the gender income gap. Nether issues important to labor.

The debt ceiling would of been used by labor to stop dole payments, pensions, and other benefits to the most vulnerable. Meanwhile it was a political game being played by labor. Nothing else.

You're wrong about the debt limit. It was introduced by Labor and then increased not once, not twice but three times by that economic illiterate, the terminally incompetent Wayne Swan.

But you don't get to pick and choose where you go. You sign up at the first UN refugee camp you find and don't sail halfway around the world or walk two-thirds of the way across Europe because you want to go to a particular place.

An important step in protecting Australian jobs and the rights of all workers – locals and those on 457 visas.
