6. The announcement of liquid water on Mars is perhaps amazing. I will remain unconvinced until they show us some.

It's bullshit of course - but it's a way for NASA to drag more billions out of the White House for Space projects.

Long before the next 4 billion years that is left to Earth we humans will have to move away from our expanding sun in artificial global habitats. Mars is of absolutely no use to us whatsoever.

To Queenslanders this was.

To the USA and Europe this is.

This is considering it will lead to WWIII.

1. It's a democracy - and I was right.

2. She's a FAR better ambassador to Australia than that idiot Lara Bingle and her dopey husband who thought it was cute to name their son 'Rocket Zot'.

I think Rocket Zot is a particularly appropriate name for any child of Lara Bingle.
She could name the next one Open-your-wallet-and-say-after-me-Help-yourself.

Australia paid her a fortune to be the country's 2006 Tourism Australia campaign.

I was sympathetic to her until I heard she'd called her baby 'Rocket Zot' - as though the bub is a race horse, or a Nintendo game, or a cartoon character.

What a travesty of a mother. Stupid bitch.

And just watch ... like Dannii Minogue and whole legions of these celebrity creatures she'll go the way of becoming that iconic figure of our irresponsible times - a Young Single Mother .. (because he was such a bastard, but I couldn't see it until I'd had a couple of Welfare Earning brats by him)).

Lenin wasn't so bad.

It was when Stalin came to power that my aunt and her parents were given three days to vacate their farm or face the consequences. My aunt and her parents then spent 14 years drifting around the USSR as seasonal workers.

Eventually my aunt managed to get to England where eventually I lived with her for four years.
