Title: what the science says:
Post by IamCOPPERinternetMEETMYHUBRIS on Oct 6th, 2015 at 6:29pm
When the Earth comes out of an ice age, the warming is not initiated by CO2 but by changes in the Earth's orbit. The warming causes the oceans to release CO2. The CO2 amplifies the warming and mixes through the atmosphere, spreading warming throughout the planet. So CO2 causes warming AND rising temperature causes CO2 rise.  Overall, about 90% of the global warming occurs after the CO2 increase.

Are you disputing the fact that CO2 comes out of solution with increasing temperature?

:o

Not greatly. It can only come out of solution if it was in solution in the first place.

It was more a critique of your source. He's not very reliable. I think he may even have convinced himself about "97% of scientists", by now.

All that CO2 goodness it will be raining fire soon.

All that CO2, all 0.04% of the atmosphere that's 0.0004 parts of the atmosphere will rain fire on us all.

All that CO2.

it used to be 0.029% about a century ago

I wonder Why the CO2 concentration is increasing Batman?

poor Batman,

poor sooky sooky Batman

Are you trying to say that we (the people of this world) as a whole can control the amount of CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere.

You are indeed a deluded chimp but more importantly you are a liar.

Man's contribution to the total CO2 budget on the Earth is minuscule.

If the sun gets a few more black spots or their is a massive volcanic eruption on Earth this could potentially double or more the CO2 content.

These events could eclipse man's contribution to the CO2 budget.

But lets look at history, we have had 20 times more atmospheric CO2 in our atmosphere than what we have today and guess what liar there was no runaway greenhouse effect.

Your physics is ass about, temperature controls the amount of CO2 in our atmosphere.

CO2 doesn't control temperature, temperature controls CO2.

You are a liar chimp, apologise right now for misleading people that don't know.

LIAR.

Catastrophic anthropogenic climate change is not a fact, but rather a hypothesis to be tested against observations. In reality, the catastrophic climate hypothesis is based on a series of assumptions about the way the climate system works and is supported neither by theory nor by empirical evidence. Climate activists have predicted for years that increased atmospheric carbon dioxide would cause an alarming rise in temperature, reaching levels later this century that would bring widespread global disruption and misery. Atmospheric temperatures, however, have remained flat for the last 15 years or so. Since the predicted catastrophe has not actually occurred, activists have worked hard to substitute the notion of consensus for that of science. The catastrophic climate hypothesis must be true, they argue, since so many prominent people, both scientists and others, support it. Many scientists with opposing views have been unable to get funding or have simply been intimidated into silence. It’s the climate activists’ view that represents the true denial of science, harking back to the Middle Ages when the Church insisted that all questions be resolved not by empirical evidence but by committees of experts reading scripture, with dissenters burned at the stake.

But not at the same rate, and that is why the IPCC call it an hiatus.

Ill fix it for you

Quote:
The warming suns short wave radiation causes the oceans to release CO2. The CO2 amplifies the warming  co-operates better with convection by helping to mix long wave radiation (heat) through the atmosphere, spreading warming throughout the planet. So CO2 causes warming AND rising helps to spread the temperature around and out of the atmosphere, while the sun continues to warm the oceans and release more co2 via its short wave radiation

Until such time that the sun decides to go for a holiday.

And when the sun is “on a holiday” solar radiation will not be so low as to reduce temperature increases much at all!
