People can make assumptions, can use past experiences and information and make a prediction, to extrapolate and connect events.

Hehehe, I appreciate your attempt at parsing, but it is possible to form an opinion based on what the media is reporting that does not involve just parroting what the media is reporting.  People can make assumptions, can use past experiences and information and make a prediction, to extrapolate and connect events.    Or you could just wait for the facts to emerge. Yeah, God forbid on a political forum with breaking news that someone should speculate.   ::) Surely then you expect your speculation to be questioned?
