If she thinks the paparazzi and all the other Hollywood photographers are her 'friends' in the same way as the audiences at her Australian zoo are - then she has a very sobering lesson coming to her.

Someone should take her aside and quietly explain to her that these professional photographers don't give a rat's arse if she's happy and successful, or miserable and an abject failure -- their only interest in her is to make a buck taking photos of her whatever her condition.

Smiling and happy, or drugged and in the gutter - it's all the same to these cynical bastards with their cameras.

She's behaving like a naive silly little girl in front of these shutterbug professionals - laughing and carrying on and flirting with them as though they are a fan club.

She needs a big reality check and to wake up to herself.

Sometimes those over happy type people really give me the runs. But Bindi is a gorgeous girl.

Too much exposure to the media too early gives a kid the wrong idea of his/her own value.

My children were both exposed to the film industry at a very young age, and both have no wish to be so exposed again. I think both were hurt by it rather than being chuffed at being in the movies.

Bindi is riding high on bullshit - that can turn on you in an instant.

Steve was short an stumpy - which goes a long way towards explaining his attitude....

Bindi just seems either naive or a bit socially inept. I agree with Herbert. The media is going to try and make a good dollar out of seeing Bindi either fail or shine. So, Bindi is going to need to make friends with the more streetwise crowd, fairly soon.

And then she disappeared for several years, until one day I got off a bus in the local town, and there she was, pushing a pram - and looked utterly hideous, with her face plastered with make-up and looking like a street prostitute. I was too embarrassed for her to make myself known.

Later, I discovered she had gone to Paris where she was like exposed cat meat for being so naive and innocent - and of course, in no time at all she was being routinely 'humped' until she had a bun in the oven from god-knows how many 'suitors'.

That was the starkest example I've personally witnessed of a beautiful and lovely young girl becoming the sad victim of having been brought up in an unrealistic Pollyanna world in which she believed everyone had her best interests at heart, and everyone was as nice and decent as her parents were.

Both of them, Bindi and her mother, are attention seeking, talentless money grabbers. Since her father, who had a genuine (IMO) talent and feeling to protect animals, they have desperately capitalised on Steve Irwin's fame and fortune even to the point of alienating his father and her grandfather because her mother wanted to rule the roost.

Not genuine people.

I don't agree her step-mother has been mistreating her in any way, or exploiting her cynically.

Showbiz has been in the family since before the children were born, and just like a circus family the tradition has continued with Bindi and her brother.

It does not seem like Bindi has a "negro" boyfriend. And if she did, that would be her problem. I doubt she is dumb enough to get pregnant to anyone at her age. She is smart enough to know better.

Being from Rockhampton, my town has a reputation for teenage girls getting pregnant. But it's more like the 17, 18, and 19 year old girls getting pregnant. Most women wait until at least 25 before they start having children.

-The 19 year old worked her butt off to make a good life for her two children, and put her children first. That being, even if she had to use her parents as baby sitters. Genuinely a good mother.
-The 16 year old, basically got pregnant for the sake of her own whimsical experience. The mother is apparently a drug addict (allegedly), and I doubt that she would be an ideal candidate for a mother's day card from her own child.

Bindi Irwin will know better than to fall into this sort of lifestyle trap. She has a career still well ahead of her, that she is already learning. But, I do think she needs a dose of reality, so that she does not let her naive persona get the better of her.

My brother's second wife's granddaughter was a sweet kid who I would see occasionally at their place and mine during family visits. A really nice little kid who was no trouble at all to anyone.

But after a few years into her mid-teens she acquired a boyfriend - and did a complete 180° about-face in her public persona.

Cheeky and abusive towards her mother. A complete tear-away. A delinquent who had decided that the world was her oyster and nobody mattered except herself. I don't know whatever became of her.

Everybody has been trying to take her down ever since she seemed so unaffected by her father's death.
Some people just have different personalities, it doesn't mean that she wasn't grieving. Obviously she has her father's enthusiasm for life and maybe it is in his honor to not let that slide.

I've just had a copy of my original birth certificate rejected by the UK government because it wasn't made out within 12 months of my birth ...

... and when I sent them a copy of the birth certificate which is currently held by the BDM office - they rejected that too.

WTF?

The problem?

There's now so much criminality based upon identity theft and fraud that the authorities won't trust anything except 1000% proof of ID.

It's sobering to discover that the photocopy of your original birth certificate is not worth the paper it's printed on because the original wasn't drawn up within 12 months of your birth.

And so for all intents and purposes I don't officially exist.
