Title: Nick Krygios Australia's shame at Tennis Post by red baron on Jun 30th, 2015 at 3:48pm
Nick Kyrgios is a petulant fouled mouthed disgrace and the only thing that went wrong was the Umpire's failure to disqualify Kyrgios from Wimbledon...Red Baron.
A report of the a..hole's behaviour follows: Nick Kyrgios has insisted he will not drop his brash attitude after the volatile Australian's latest outburst during his Wimbledon first-round rout of Diego Schwartzman. Kyrgios was back at Wimbledon 12 months after he stunned Rafael Nadal in a memorable fourth-round upset that made him the lowest-ranked player to beat a world number one at a major for 22 years. On his return, Kyrgios, who eventually bowed out in the quarter-finals last year, crushed Schwartzman 6-0, 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) in just 85 minutes to set up a second-round meeting with another Argentine, Juan Monaco, after he beat Germany's Florian Mayer 6-1, 6-2, 6-4. But Kyrgios' emphatic victory was marred by a heated discussion with umpire Mohamed Lahyani over a line call that Kyrgios felt came as he was hitting a deep ball, affecting his shot, but the umpire disagreed. That prompted the 20-year-old to threaten to sit in his chair until the supervisor came out to make a ruling - a threat that turned out to be empty as he picked up his racket and balls after about 45 seconds of discussion. He also shouted out "dirty scum". Kyrgios was adamant he was directing the abuse at himself, but the unsavoury incident only added to the perception the world number 29, already renowned for his flamboyant style on and off court, has an attitude problem. The Canberra native, who split with long-time coach Todd Larkham just before Wimbledon, was hardly repentant when quizzed about his outburst at his post-match media conference. "I wasn't referring to the ref at all there. Yeah, it was towards myself. Obviously I knew you guys were going to ask me about that," he said. "I'm not too fussed about the call to be honest, but if it was a more crucial time in the match, or deeper in the tournament, that could swing things. "It shouldn't be something that can be taken lightly. You've got to make the right call there. "It wouldn't bother me one bit if they fine me." Pressed by reporters on why he would describe himself in such fashion, Kyrgios grew agitated, saying: "Because I can. Why are you so caught up about the question?" Can you believe what a dead sh.t we have representing our Country? He should be exported to Greece where his worth is about as much as their economy right now...Red Baron |

Red Baron is the one that should be ashamed. Don't project your shame on the whole country.
The umpire was wrong. |

The Umpire, even if he made a bad call, did not derserve the unashamed vitriol thatKrygios poured out like a 'big girl's blouse'.
You would never have seen a Rod Laver or Ken Roswell or John Newcombe, or Pat Rafter behave like that. Never...ever. Standards have dropped to an all time low because in Laver's day, that just simply would not have happened. The players would have copped it sweet, realising that sometimes the odd bad call goes your way. It shows Unforgiven, how little you know about the game of Tennis and its history. You are an apologist for a dead sh.t like Krygios. He deserved a belt in his potty mouth. |

That's funny Aussie, the remarks I am reading, hearing indicate that the AUSTRALIAN player Nick Krygios was behaving abysmally.
Don't think he is a Greek National is he? I can only pray. |

I remember Layton Hewitt was a little controversial in his younger days .. then all the knobs started telling him he was a bad sport because he yelled out 'come on' so he stopped displaying his passion. Stopped winning too.
Passion is an integral part of sport. You use whatever emotions you need to win, be they anger, disappointment, revenge etc anything that gives you that slight edge you need to win. I'm pretty sure Krygios doesn't play because he cares what you think Red, he plays to win. |

Don't bang on Aussie, I have been watching top class Tennis for more decades than I care to remember and as long as I can remember this Country has always claimed Australian players as playing for or representing their Country.
You are really banging on here Aussie, stop being a Lawyer and accept the bleeding obvious (to most people except you). The Tennis Court is not a Law Court. :P |

Aussie if you cast your mind back to our glory days, long, long ago when the likes of Evonne Goolagong, Rod Laver, Roy Emerson Pat Cash and others won Wimbledons; our Country went into a frenzy of happiness at the prowess of our Australian players winning.(Not that there's anything wrong with that). I don't recall same level of enthusiasm when O/S players won.
I'm afraid the cards you are holding in this argument are Aces and Eights (Wild Bill Hickock's hand just before he got shot dead) |

This disturbed, angry and uneducated boy, who is coming from broken family is full of inferiority complexes.
He imitates some tough American homie which is rather more appropriate for barbaric sports than for tennis. Instead to be proud of himself he is ashamed of his Asian - Wog heritage what was imposed on him by cruel Yobbos in Australia. He should use Djokovic as an example of cultured behavior. |

Krygios bowed out last night to Richard Gascquet, playing with all the antics he has showed thus far.
But he outdid himself last night , deliberately throwing away points to Gasquet whilst having another running battle with the Umpire. He was so bad the crowd booed him when he started chucking points in a supreme display of petulance. Big girl's blouse. ;D |

it would have to be a tough stage to be on... and we do seem to have more than our share of petulance with the aussie males ::) ::),,someone is responsible for nurturing these young kids when they are starting to come through the ranks as teens... are they missing out on teaching them to lose gracefully.....bury your face in a cushion and scream like mad.. but come back smiling....no one wants to lose especially when you have fought the good fight...but in tennis thats the name of the game someone has to lose....
in the end these antics hurt you more than your opponent.. hes doing fine he is winning... these two young men need a lesson in good manners and good sportsmanship... somehow they missed those classes.. |

cods, I'll bet you have never been out there on a major stage at a young age trying to do your best, not just for 60 or so seconds as Fraser managed, but for perhaps a couple of hours. Not only do you have to contend with your own game, your own frustrations about not getting it right, you have an opponent on the other side of the net who also wants to win. Then....on top of all that, throw in some monkeys whose decisions have a very direct impact on all of the above. I'll bet you cannot name even one young player of talent who was on such a stage like Wimbledon who did not wear his emotions on his sleeve. |

I've visitted a thousand Greek-run shops, cafes, etc in Sydney over the years and the one thing that was common to all of them is that they discriminate against the locals by not employing them. You People love 'Australians' as customers, but not as employees. Greeks will employ Greeks as a top priority. |

Anglos will make a judgment upon who's right and who's wrong, regardless of whether you're a fellow Pom or a fellow Aussie. But not so the ethnics. Their Racial Discrimination Paranoia doesn't allow them to credit an Anglo against one of Their Own under any circumstances. This Greek kid who's been born in Multicultural (ie multi-national) Australia will get over it soon enough - being told to go back to Greece. His parents would have drummed it into him since birth that he is Greek first and Australian second (ie Greek-Australian, not Australian-Greek) - and that Melbourne is a Greek city only second to Athens. He'll come good before too long. He'll be receiving a lot of comments and communication from Australia's Greek Community asking him to tone it down a bit because his behaviour is not the sort of Showcase that's doing the Greek Community any good. He'll come good. I love his passion and his temper - I'm just the same. Over time he'll develop a more mature response to frustration and disappointment. It was a big ferking deal at the time, let me assure you. Back then she was not highly regarded generally (except as a swimmer,) and was given the boot. Apart from age, she has done SFA of value since then. I expect that her grovelling is a recognition that she ought be the last person lecturing young athletes about behaviour. |

Nick Krygios is a decent young man and very talented tennis player. He was born and has been growing up in extremely Anglo racist environment that discriminated him from very early age.
Unfortunately he is now expressing his frustration with such bad experience in his life. It is pity that the boy was not born in America. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ-JxG28EsU |

Lord Herbert, you will never get a truce from athos because people like him take all there is to take from this great Country then call it for all the crap in the world.
They are a race of ingrates (calling them a type here, not from a specific race of people) and are willing to take plenty from this Country then they sh.t on it. Their opinion of this Country is lower than the barometer on a freezing winter's day. And that temperature represents their net worth...too low for zero. |

Kyrgios' performance was the latest in a long list of misdemeanours at SW19 but Murray expressed sympathy for the youngster.
'The most important thing is to try to be yourself,' Murray said of Kyrgios' behaviour. 'I don't think people always appreciate how difficult it is to grow up under the spotlight, how difficult it is to have loads of people expecting you to be perfect from a young age. Also John McEnroe backs Nick Kyrgios. Yer a bogan Balmain idiot and a bloody thief. cods, I'll bet you have never been out there on a major stage at a young age trying to do your best, not just for 60 or so seconds as Fraser managed, but for perhaps a couple of hours. WHEN WERE YOU ON THE WORLD STAGE AUSSIE.... YOU HAVE HEAPS TO SAY ON THIS... BUT BY THE SOUND OF YOU.. YOU CAN ONLY DO SO IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED IT ALL.. COME ON YOU TELL US HOW WONDERFUL AND 'RIGHT' YOU ALWAYS ARE.. TELL US ABOUT YOUR WORLD STAGE EXPERIENCE... I have no idea what you are going on about....none whatsoever.. as per usual...Dawn was at 3 OLYMPICS... she wasnt on the stage for 60 seconds... she was a HERO in OZ eyes...again when the flag thing happened she was only young.....as a champion in the limelight I think she has more than a right to speak up.... maybe the words could have been better chosen...but I think she was more on about the Davis Cup comments I have said more than once this young man needs HELP....someone like Dawn should step up and give him advice.......dont knock our icons as if they dont matter.. they have a world of experience.... and I am looking forward to reading all about yours??????? Pete Sampras.......in answer to you last profound remark.. hey aussie you didnt fill me in with your world stage experience .. so I thought I would bring it forward for you so you can bask in the sunshine once again.... ::) you sure as hell have it in for Dawn.... so lets here your achievements that I am sure have put you in the aussie hall of fame.... you seem to sound off more than most so I am interested in what time and effort you put in....more than 60seconds I am sure... ::) ::) lets face it sport is soooo important it will save lives one day I am sure it will........ tennis is one of the harder ones. of course. ;D ;D ;D |

Jayzuz - in my day they never did that sh!t.... I never stood on a podium to accept a prize..but I sure played my part as a member of the team... two tries in the first half..... an outstanding run from outside the 25 and taking the ball from the half back and slicing through eight defenders to score... follow the big forward into the middle of the ruck when the opposition want to make a maul of it, and take the ball and hit the accelerator - second try for the first half..... and not a word spoken, since it was just accepted as normal for a TEAM player..... RUGBY - the game they play in Heaven! What part of TEAM has an I in it? |

Nick Kyrgios and Victoria Azarenka serve it up for all to see on Twitter
Is it a budding romance or is the connection between Aussie young gun Nick Kyrgios and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka just friendship? The pair are often in direct contact through Twitter, but their most recent conversation has led some fans to believe there could be more than just friendship between them in the future. On Saturday night, Kyrgios sent out a tweet to all his followers, providing a five-minute Q&A. "Okay, I have 5 mins to kill. Quick Q&A Use #NKAO15 and I'll answer as many as I can.......GO!," he tweeted. Azarenka replied asking "How can I learn to serve as big as u @NickKyrgios ??? #NKAO2015", to which Nick replied, "Private lessons of course!!". The cheeky comeback didn't seem to deter the former girlfriend of singer Red Foo, replying "okay I'll book one." http://www.smh.com.au/sport/tennis/nick-kyrgios-and-victoria-azarenka-serve-it-up-for-all-to-see-on-twitter-20150125-12xq5r.html |
