Now it just remains for rogue countries like Australia to be led into the 21st Century. |

Wow, 5 years before they might look at it.
Then again, it may not. 'On current trends, the world’s biggest carbon emitter will discharge 12.5-14bn tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (GtCO2e) in 2025, after which emissions will decline, it said.' Australia's emissions 319m tonnes. That bloody profligate Australia. |

If Australia reduced it's entire emissions to zero (ie nobody produced anything at all) - China's increase alone would eat up the reduction in six months.
Still see Australia as the problem? |

It's a question of pulling your weight. Even countries like the Netherlands or Denmark can do it, so why shouldn't Australia ? We could be net exporters of renewable energy with our solar resources. |

China 2013 - 10.33bn Tonne
12 years to 2025 a conservative average of 11.5bn, 138 bn tonne. That's a lot of gas. Burp. |

So you think that all countries with less than 30 million people should do nothing? The last time I checked, Australia was part of the world. It's like being a part of a rowing team, and saying - I'm not going to row. There are another 7 people rowing. They can do 87.5% of the job without me. My contribution is negligible. There is a good chance that the major polluters will come up with an accord for 2025 at the Paris convention. The US, China and Germany have all made huge commitments to date. I've no doubt that Lomborg, Lindzen, and the other circus clowns will be out in force during that event. |

Australia's contribution is negligible.......!!!
No need to send millions of Australia's tax payer monies to the United Nations and the world bank, or the $2 trillion dollar carbon derivatives market. Thank you very much. Quote:
