Title: New minister to combat radicalisation Post by Armchair_Politician on May 26th, 2015 at 8:20am
The Prime Minister will announce a new front bench position to combat Islamic radicalisation and improve consultation with Muslim leaders and at-risk communities.
Sky News understands Liberal Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells will be given the role, reporting to Attorney General George Brandis. Attorney General George Brandis would not pre-empt the Prime Minister's announcement but confirmed the government will be strengthening its response to terrorism. 'The purpose (of our announcements) ... will be to strengthen our already strong response to the threat of home-grown terrorism and Islamist terrorism.' The Prime Minister is expected to announce a discussion paper on stripping the citizenship of Australians engaged with terrorism. Sky News understands there were strong reservations expressed at a Cabinet meeting on Monday about a proposed measure to strip first generation Australians of their citizenship if they fight with terror organizations. The change could see Australians, even if they are not dual nationals, have their citizenship removed because they have the prospect of citizenship through the birthplace of a parent. Mr Brandis has told Sky News the government is not planning changes that would render citizens stateless. 'Everything we do will be compliant to the rule of law. But we are going to be tough,' he said. 'These people are crazy, they are a threat to our civilisation, this government is absolutely determined to protect our people, including our youngsters from their influence,' he told Sky News. It comes after the announcement on Monday that Justice Minister Michael Keenan will be given a new role assisting the Prime Minister on counter-terrorism issues. http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-stories/2015/05/26/new-minister-to-combat-islamic-radicalisation.html?cid=BP_RSS_sn-topstories_3_new-minister-to-combat-islamic-radicalisation_260515 |

Don't Muslims hate women?
Make them walk 3 steps behind, give them a good thrashing at the slightest mistake, treat them as property? I'm sure I've read all this stuff in the DT teaspoon. So tell me how is a white women with what looks like Greek heritage going to be listened too, let alone respected by these horrible women hating towelheads? What a pointless waste of time & tax payers money.(you can bet she'll be seeing a pay rise out of this) A bit like George telling us this morning that we will soon have guidelines on what it is & means to be |

First of all, her parents are Italian, not Greek. Secondly, did you not see the deep respect shown to Julie Bishop on her recent visit to Iran, a fervently Islamic country? Also, if you understood Islam at all, you'd know they don't hate women at all - right or wrong, women simply don't have equal status with men. |

So they are just like a car right?
Something you own? Not that I believe all this sh!t you litter the boards with from Pravda but at least try and make the narrative coherent. (you might want to use this site for those last 2 http://dictionary.reference.com/) |

So you've got nothing then, right? Hardly surprising. How they treat their own women is a thing for them (personally, I don't agree with it), but they clearly showed a great deal of respect to Julie Bishop in Iran and she returned the favour by showing respect for their religion. I wouldn't expect you to understand anything about respect, however. |

Another attempt by the big eared maggot to try and keep the public worried about islam, terrorism, ISIS etc.
Why isnt every other western country following his lead, creating all these special jobs, new minister roles etc. Because it is all about getting him re-elected by keeping the public wrong footed. Lets hope they can see through this dope! >:( >:( >:( |

Don't they persecute christians, Bahia's & other secs not Shia? Aren't they going to nuke Israel off the map if they get the chance? What a load of hooey...
Radicalization, Smadicalisation... Let's not allow these; badly behaved, ignorant, stupid, morally bereft, ungrateful, Muslims off the hook... "it's not our fault they were radicalized it's the fault of the West..." :D :D :D give me a break. These twits have been fed anti-western bigoted crap since birth, that's why they are like they are or they are psychos that have converted... I note the psycho converts are a very small minority. Right David Hicks? Armchair_Politician wrote on May 26th, 2015 at 8:20am:
Can't see how anyone and particularly Wells will help the situation, she's hardly known for her tact or moderation. Anyway it's a waste of money and time. Easy solution end Multiculti, deport those who have a problem with it, end dual citizenships, deport those that don't like it. Quote:
Well should we applaud commonsense... or just expect it? Personally I just expect it. Quote:
That's right, so let's not let them claim it's not their fault... and it's just this new disease Radicalization... It's poor upbringing and a lack of morals... let's not let the parents off the hook on this 9/10 of them would have fed this crap to their children. If any of you had read the crap Hilali and Trad fed children over the years you'd know this. Quote:
If you truly want to counter terrorism muslim terrorism, stop importing the Terrorists in the first place. Stop supporting them through Multiculturalism, stop supporting social disharmony. |

https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/28221302/sydney-mother-abandons-children-to-go-to-join-is/?cmp=ydn
A family have spoken of their shock after a Sydney mother apparently abandoned her two children and ran off to Syria to start a new life with Islamic State. Jasmina Mil-ovanov's mum has told 7News: "I am shocked before. I was shocked even before. "But now we all trying to get through with our lives." The 26-year-old reportedly hired a babysitter earlier this month, telling her that she was going to pick up a new car, but the mother of two never returned. Jasmina's ex-husband claims she sent him a text message letting him know that she was in Syria and he believes she has now remarried there, News Corp reports. Other religion's followers don't run off to go jihading.... |
