I would venture a guess that it is 5 times as long as it has been in existence. Say 50,000 years excluding any inception of an ice age which would accelerate it.

Whats the point, atheists can't argue against miracles essentially because for it to be miracle requires a leap of faith from believers and thus ignorance of logic.

There is no evidence that anything can be attributed to a miracle performed by a deity.

If there was evidence of divine intervention, who's to say it wasn't Allah or Buddha or Yahweh or Vishnu who performed the act rather than the Christian god.

I took this in late April and though not a lot of snow, never seen it so prevalent that time of the year. Now, here in May there is a winter storm warning for 20+ inches to fall in the higher terrain. And I'm frekkin' freezing!

so... a couple points here.  You admit that temperatures have stalled - something that you refused to accept before.  and the second is that the 'ocean heat sink' concept is not proven but is largely used as a last-ditch explanation for the pause that most boofheads on here refuse to accept has even happened.  It is a very convenient - and unproven - theory that conveniently supports the ACC theory and was added only AFTER warming paused.

Nearer the equator the oceans are dominant for heat transfer; nearer the poles the atmosphere is more dominant!

Looking out your back window and listening to climate alarmists is not a very accurate way of cataloging weather events, I'm sure that if you check the weather records for your area you will find its not all that unusual.

Meanwhile, California is in dire drought, an "unusual tornado" traveled 26 miles (about 42 kilometers) across Oklahoma and it's snowing outside. As John Lennon said, "strange days, indeed."

I had a similar conversation on another board, it snowed in this dudes town and he said its never snowed in his town before so this surely means global warming is real and we are doomed, after two minutes on the net I found two other times it had snowed in his town, one being 1912.

Unfortunately he was too far gone to help though and he just screamed DENIAR and made out it never happened and said I was nothing more than planet destroying scum that should be killed, climate cult kooks are a weird mob thats for certain  ;D
