This guys refutation of so called (american) "Libertarianism" (really corporate totalitarianism) is excellent.  As he says; you just need logic.

Proof positive that if you place a microphone and a video camera close enough to a leftist's asshole it will try to imitate a meadowlark, but it's breath will still smell like sh!t, and the message will still snort like the bull it came from.
And then there will always be those here that will gladly gobble up all that bull sh!t and chant in lockstep that it's the logical gospel truth.

Oh let me guess, wealth is created by not requiring the rich to pay taxes and not burdening the rich with regulation. Talk about a slavish attitude.

Leftists are always "Green" with envy.
They envy what somebody else earned, and then need to take it away from them because those that refuse to earn it themselves are somehow more entitled to it.  :-?  :-? ::)

Tax the rich the same as everyone else, and regulate only what legitimately needs regulation, not regulation for regulation's sake  ;)

Yeah that's right, you keep going through life automatically reacting to anyone who suggests that the wealthy commercial elite have been planting BS in your brain for their interests against yours. What do they always tell you.  When you're not sure about what's really going on just "follow the money" and what does capitalism tell you "Everybody (yeah, that means you, not just the commercial elite) are entitled to pursue their interests. And what do you do; You spend your miserable existence like the indoctrinated puppet you are arguing their arguments for why they shouldn't pay taxes and why working people are paid too much. Follow the money fool; Pursue your interests fool. Its allowed, even for someone as low and impressionable as you to defend and work for your own interests.

There is an argument that considerable debt should be transmitted to future generations because when they are born they acquire the benefit of the public capital investment of generations that preceded them.

Roads, bridges and other utilities and goods.

So it is rational to argue that new generations should inherit debt from preceding generations.

There are billionaires who are saying the same as this guy on the video is saying. Warren buffett and Nick Hanauer. Do you think its envy for them too. When someone says I want to be paid what I'm worth and I want you to pay taxes like the rest of us, so we get more schools etc, is that always about envy. Even someone as impressionable as you must know that there are many in the community who are motivated (and in my view its almost all) not by envy but by what they believe to be fair.  When the commercial elite say we should not be made to pay a minimum wage or penalty rates its because they think its fair, not because they are envious.

Not one single well off or rich person in society could possibly live as well as they do if it wasn't for the community that makes it possible. They live far better then even kings 100 years ago lived.  But even though they are the first to scream "user pays", there is no way they want to put a value on the extraordinary benefits they get from society compared to the rest of us. No, after all the benefits they get they argue that we owe them and should be grateful to them and try and tell them to go p!ss off and go live in the jungle and see how well they can do for themselves and there is no way you can get rid of them. Make no mistake, despite what the wealthy commercial elite say about how special they are, if you kick them out tomorrow there will be another wealthy elite replacing them in a blink of an eye. Its very little to do with them and the people who replace them and much more to do with circumstance and being at the right place at the right time. Sure we have different skills but without our skills they would not enjoy anywhere near the opulent life they enjoy today and its time they stopped overrating their skills and paying the true value for ours.  Its like the steering wheel of a car saying, "If it wasn't for me you would not have a car" Yeah right, and what about the engine? Time the rich stopped talking themselves up to avoid paying their dues, like we all have to.

Yes fool. Look at you. First you deny there are Billionaires like Buffett agreeing with the guy on the video and now you attack Buffett (Buffett swill you call it) for agreeing with the guy. Too dumb to even see how you've contradicted yourself . But being called a fool is nothing to the slave you are for slavishly being led by the nose, arguing passionately for what's best for them.   I got a pet Jack Russell less grovelling then that.

That's true Svengali. Inter-generational transfer of debt (amortisation over a long term) is the way to go for public infrastructure expenditure, or as they used to call it, capital works.
The trouble is, a lot of the debt that will be transferred on to future generations now will be in respect of recurrent expenditure. Or if you like, putting the mortgage payments on the credit card.

That is not OK.

I've seen enough of you people going on about how hard you work to know that it's peppered with a mountain of BS.  Lots of people work hard mate but they bear it and get on with it and don't whine all the time telling everyone how much harder they work and how much more entitled they are. If your so entitled go p!ss off and go do it on your own and then see how well you do for your self. As far as I'm concerned if there's any bludgers around its you!!! While the rest of us are doing our bit to make the society work you think its your right to choke on all the benefits society brings and then let everyone else worry about keeping a viable community functioning by paying their taxes and not begrudging the fact that society wants to help its poor and disadvantaged.  Your entitled, your entitled, sick to death of hearing it.  I'm betting you a hundred million to 1 that this community has carried you and your family often enough but it's convenient to pretend it never happened,

Before Enron collapsed it was the biggest corporation in US history. In its last six years of operation it only paid tax in one year. All the money it made in the other five years by doing business in the US was protected by tax havens and creative accounting. So I think Mr Dooley is wrong when he says this guy does not know how wealth is created.

I always thought this national debt hoopla is not genuine and just the Right's way of selling their agenda to cut welfare spending but these latest crocodile tears about how they're overcome by concern not to burden our children and grand children with their debt just reeks of hypocrisy. These are the same people who wont even lift a finger to save our planet (the only planet our children and grand children have for their very survival) from global warming and are happy to splash money around on any war that takes their fancy.  This old government debt chestnut is as old as government debt itself and goes back to well before the Romans. It was BS then and it's BS now. Oh look! With all those decades of putting the frighteners up people about government debt we're all still here. What about you Dooley? You a global warming denier and yet some how still pretend to be concerned about off loading our burden onto our kids??????

Well Spart It appears you see my position as inconsistent because on the one hand I want future generations to suffer environmental disaster while not paying for huge debt left to them by us. Actually I very much want clean air and clean water, I just don't want to see a bogus carbon tax to charge us for the air we breathe.

You rarely hear the words Smog or Acid Rain in the US anymore but they were real problems until the EPA was able to enforce clean air standards.

We switched to unleaded gasoline in 1975 and car exhaust systems stopped rotting out in forty thousand miles and now sometimes last the life of the car. People don't suffer hydrocarbon related respiratory illnesses as much as they used to. Smog in the US is mostly a thing of the past.

The Oil and Chemical Industry stopped letting Hydrogen Sulfide gas leak into the atmosphere which combined with the airs humidity and came back down as a weak sulfuric acid bath on everything. It was a win for everyone, the industry had lower employee health care costs and their expensive equipment lasted longer and required less maintenance. People who lived around this industry benefited as well because their air was also cleaner.

In 1994  Freon R-134a replaced Freon-12 due to Ozone depletion potential.

These are the changes I have supported, not AlGore with his six homes, two private jets and fleet of vehicles telling the rest of us "Do as I say not as I do".

I believe Governments should be financially and fiscally conservative with the Public's money just as individuals should be with theirs. An individual should save first, then pay bills and then enjoy whatever lifestyle the remainder can buy! Any debt is the moral responsibility of the borrower to repay in a timely manner.

Just so you know I'M DEBT FREE and have been for years! Next month we go on an Alaskan Cruise made possible by conservative fiscal planning.

You don't care for clean and water. I'm willing to bet you'd allow for BP to run amok all over gawd-forsaken east Texas if you could make a dollar or two off of it.

You rarely hear the words Smog or Acid Rain in the US anymore but they were real problems until the EPA was able to enforce clean air standards.

Lame II. You also don't hear much about AIDS anymore, either. But do go on and embarrass yourself equating acid rain to a Bigfoot sighting.

We switched to unleaded gasoline in 1975 and car exhaust systems stopped rotting out in forty thousand miles and now sometimes last the life of the car. People don't suffer hydrocarbon related respiratory illnesses as much as they used to. Smog in the US is mostly a thing of the past.

You have obviously never been to L.A. Oh, and remind me again who was behind getting the lead out of gasoline? Go on, Google it. Oil and chemical corporations can do no harm in Texass, right?

You must have an elephant's memory:

Places like Times Beach, Rocky Flats, Love Canal & Bhopal must all be fiction to you. You do recall what happened in Bhophal?

The Oil and Chemical Industry stopped letting Hydrogen Sulfide gas leak into the atmosphere which combined with the airs humidity and came back down as a weak sulfuric acid bath on everything. It was a win for everyone, the industry had lower employee health care costs and their expensive equipment lasted longer and required less maintenance. People who lived around this industry benefited as well because their air was also cleaner.

No they haven't. Most have shipped production overseas to countries where human life has little meaning and unregulated practices continue. Just because it's not happening in your backyard does not mean it's not happening elsewhere

In 1994  Freon R-134a replaced Freon-12 due to Ozone depletion potential.

Another EPA standard.

These are the changes I have supported, not AlGore with his six homes, two private jets and fleet of vehicles telling the rest of us "Do as I say not as I do".

Do enlighten me how wealth is created. Does it have anything to do with waving Chinese made American flags at sporting events?

I don't want liberation. I earn my living, and I'm happy.
I earn more than I need, so I stash the cash.
I don't give it to the government, and I don't give it to the poor. I earned it and so should they, and I'm damn well going to keep and enjoy what's rightfully mine.
Unlike you people, I don't envy those that have more, no I strive to do better. ;)

Whatever.

It doesn't have anything to do with playing on the Internet on company time!

I never supported the Invasion of Iraq, as bad as Saddam was he was just the kind of neighbor Iran deserved.

Actually I have been to LA, mountains on the east side and the Pacific breeze on the west side is a natural trap for whatever is in the air.

Union Carbide no longer exists!

When I was your age I thought I had all the answers too. Life got better when I accepted they were playing me for their own ends!

Way, way lame. You circumvent questions and then blame it on your ego.
