The treasurer of the Federal Liberal Party launched a strident attack on the Prime Minister's chief of staff, Peta Credlin, urging her removal in an explosive text message leaked to the ABC's Four Corners program.

The confidential message from party treasurer Philip Higginson was sent to a senior Liberal figure late last year.

He refers to Ms Credlin as the "Horsewoman of the Apocalypse" and tells his Liberal colleague: "I do hope you can negotiate the removal of Credlin. That would be a huge win in itself."

Mr Higginson was considered a good friend of Prime Minister Tony Abbott when he sent the message.

Whether or not it's true that Credlin is a problem, there is the problem of conflict of interest and lack of catholicity and even democracy in the Party, with power being held in the hands of the few and carefully controlled.  Hardly a good sign for any government.

Same applies to labor, BTW, and one clear reason I advocate the removal of both.

Best choice is to get rid of the lot and then retrospectively ensure that all are not kept in luxury for life - sufficient is enough for anyone - ask any pensioner.... you can save your money for a trip once a year and even get to see the grand-kids once in a while on the pension - no need for Gold Cards and stuff.

Politics was never intended to be a luxury cruise for life... it's a casual contracted position already paid sufficient in salary to encompass the potential for non-renewal, same as Andrei's position.

Is Andrei going to cop a lifetime of luxury at their expense if his CSG frackers decide they can no longer afford him or he's surplus to requirements?

It honestly is the feeling i get whenever greens win or green senators talk/lecture people .
Its like being spoken back to by an over emotional and quite irrational 10 yo girl.
Now i trained my daughters well that displays of "show pony ' and "princess" behaviour would not be tolerated.
But from the greens, we get this tantrum like behaviour over and over.
its this fuming irrational spoilt brat type behaviour.

whilst Abbott was unwise to use it

the left (but in particular the greens) just live in a child like world with no responsibility.

like a whiney child who just wants, wants, wants and has never been taught any hard lessons.

the problem is that a lot of parents nowadays (helicopter parents who hover and protect or steamroller parents who crush every obstacle in their childs path) are raising kids who will be seduced by the nonsense that the greens preach (not the environment...i support the environmentalists and old fashioned  greens who camped in trees).
but the new greens are nothing to do with the environment. i liken them more to ISIS . a perversion of their mother religion. a "cult" based on hatred for everything that hard working, decent Australians stand for.
