In my opinion he should have his mod status removed for abusing his powers. Not agreeing with or disliking the topic of conversation is NOT grounds for him to lock the thread.

Andrei was right to lock the thread. Complaints about the moderators of the member run forums don't belong in the Feedback forum.

Bobby made a mistake and realised it after he'd done it, so the appropriate action was to lock the thread and move on.

Quite true.  Gee, why don't people take the time to read Forum Rules.  I do agree they are not all in the same place to easily find, but they are there.  If I can find them, anyone and everyone can.
