I'm not feeling very confident about our personal privacy here at OzPol, maybe it's time freediver assured us that security is assured and that passwords can't be hacked.

I've seen a couple of complaints lately about password/computer hacking re the Ozpolitics forum. Maybe it's the muzzies or maybe it's people from 'that other forum'.....who knows?

I usually blame Tony Abbott when things go wrong, but I'm not sure this time.

The other board is perfectly safe. I trust Skippy implicitly. In fact it hasn't been safer, except for a member who is bringing information back here and inciting distrust. It has been unsafe at times - but not now.

Aussie's membership wasn't hacked - although an attempt was made, but this sort of thing happens occasionally no matter what board you're posting on.

I strongly encourage posters here to steer WELL CLEAR of the septic tank known as PA that is attached to this site. As evidence I point to AiA’s continual attempts to provoke me by using particular images as avatar. Then there was Naffy posting a link to a web page that contains my name. All decent posters (except for mantra) have long fled the cesspool.

what sort of improvements to security in particular has skippy been allowed to implement?

The thread has been here for awhile and someone else resurrected it.  I am no-one's sock and "bird brain" is pretty lame to say the least.

It depends on how you look at it I guess-- we are all blaming shadows cos' none of us really know anything atm..that said while we from both forums frequent both boards, there will always be interforum sh1tfights..it matters not what pp say about that not being allowed- it will continue regardless- in one form or another. Nuns not as hands on? They layed into us boys right enough, caned WAY out of proportion to whatever petty offence the punishment was for. Wonder what they do now corporal punishment is outlawed?

I have heard that people lived in fear of the nuns.. mums used to threaten the kids if they didnt behave to send them to the nuns run schools..lol...

not good is it??.. just about all school with a religious background have horrible histories...the biggest shock to me was the Salvation Army...

Me too, have been an atheist since HS but felt the Salvos went out there and rescued the derros, junkies and give practical help they were alright. I even doorknocked for the red shield appeal—great shock to hear there was kiddy fiddling even there.

I was thinking of paedophilia when I made that comment. I've heard quite a few stories about the brutality of the nuns and met a lot of emotionally damaged females who went to Catholic schools. They've probably improved over the last couple of decades since corporal punishment was outlawed.

on reflection what mantra said.. it does seem they are prepared to put up with certain things...no matter how bad.

He can behave himself when he chooses to. It hasn't been non stop threats for 9 years.

I do stand up for myself to a certain extent Cods and other people when I think there's a need. Perhaps this is what some of you don't understand now - PA is becoming more civilised than Ozpolitic with Skippy at the helm. A lot of this badmouthing is historical as well as hysterical. There are some nice people over there now and it's just as safe to post there as it is here.

Your actions (or rather, lack of action) speaks louder.  When you make a post condemning the garbage which those from elsewhere bring here, especially IQSRLOW, I (we all) will see it.

As for how long I allowed something, I am not about to prevent people from having their say (or not saying anything at all).....until I judge it needs reigning in.  That is the judgment call for me to make, and others (of course, including yourself) are free to be critical.  I have no problem with that.

Nef , Black Orchid Lisa ( all have been socking up here and trolling members - yes I have had nicks in the past but with a huge difference- I used them to avoid trolls ( from over there) that is how come so many have said that I have nicks- sad when you think someone has to pretend to be someone else to get some peace isn't it? 4.  He has posted (I have no idea if it was a bluff, and it may well have been) he was able to identify where NOIQ worked, and that, by way of response to the vicious attacks (including posting real photos of him etc) which came from NOIQ, he would contact the employer whose internet facilities NOIQ was using to make the attacks.

skippy, there is one undeniable fact.  You know as well as I do that NOIQ is attacking OzPol using socks daily created (I'll bet he is even boasting about it over there at PA) and you are doing nothing to assist in stopping it.  In fact, it seems quite coincidental that when these attacks are made, both you and Super Nova (PA Admin and Mod respectively) are there cheering him on with your silence from the bleaches.

It would not matter what anyone said about PA or whether it was true or false, everything anyone has ever said (even combined) does not come close to the damage NOIQ is doing to the credibility of PA with his ugly attacks here, in which, yet again (last night) he posted a real photo of a Member here.

You and PA are welcome to him.  He is an ornament to you both.

I have said that I know what he posted, and that it may well have been a bluff, and he had very good reason.  It is sound Forum Management to make some effort to evaluate every new registrant using the tools made available for that very purpose, and NOIQ is providing all the proof needed in that regard.

I have found proof online that prove that Black Orchid and Lisa Jones are the worst sickest trolls on the internet-- Carl D etc etc-- Lisa has so many IDs she cannot keep up with them all and the  things she gets up to re: men is quite eye opening  - BO acts like butter wouldn't melt but she is just a bored vicious Multi troll, but she is far from the worst of them..Skippy and IQ are one and the same person from what I have gleaned over the last few weeks..they act alike and use the same language- coincidence hey ? I would hope no one would work on getting anyone banned permanently .. that would be pathetic for adults to stoop too.. and I would hope all members of ozpol are at least adults...

I dont think thats likely mantra... the point is a mod should not get into personal stuff...its human they like or dislike just like the rest of us...but it shouldnt SHOW..

If the moderators get enough complaints - they may end up banning everyone involved. Can't you just deal with these matters on the forum instead of running to the mods all the time?

I think the main problem is we have all posted alongside each other for close to a decade now  way too long, way too familiar- so much history that most on here know nothing about.   Harsh,I dont know about that but Mantra herself is mostly right in the thick of most stoushes...and loving it

I dont agree there she is usually trying to sooth things  down..from what I see.. I get cranky and say things back and so do you...wont mention anyone else.. but mantra usually has something nice to say about most people...

we do have to move on from past grievances we all change

some get quieter some get noisier.or ruder or meaner...... not us of course..  8-)

What a gross neglect of duty of care from Aussie, not to mention very poor form.
This post was intended to harm Mantra's reputation at OZ Pol and in particular to let AG know it was Mantra that alerted Aussie to the post AG made . Aussie knows AG will have a massive dummy spit, she always does, when she returns and take it out on Mantra. In fact I I think it's the first time I've read a mod alert the forum about a poster that complained, disgusting, and he wonders why he is so disliked.  That was a calculated effort to hurt Mantra.

I'm having the same problem and I rarely post there and it has been a good 12 months since I got involved in one of those endless arguments.

We've been blocked and this is personal because there was no reason to block me at all.

What do you do? This must be the blanket ban I was talking about earlier.

No.  It was skippy who made that decision, and there is no denying it.

Further, at this stage, what has happened here in the genuine Feedback section seems to be a glitch.  There is no way FD (or anyone else) would bother going through individual Threads deleting the reply button for each Member, and not in other Threads.  That would be a massive task even if the software here allowed it.   I have the button in at least one Thread there, but not in (many) others which is evidence of a glitch.  I also have asked FD what is happening, he has read my PM, but he has not replied.

When you use the word 'blocked' do you mean you can't even access that Section of the Forum or...that you can get access and read, just not post there because you have no 'reply' button.

come on girls we should stick together.. seems to me we let ourselves down and the boys win.. when we keep up with this garbage.,. sorry to call it that...as I can only think the grief comes over from PA.. and it would have been some time ago...

if we keep dragging the past with us.. then it will ferment into something really sour and odious..we all make mistakes and all say things we would rather we hadnt...but the true spirit is to forgive that and move on...if mantra was still doing what ever it is you claim she has done in the past ag... I would understand...I really would but all I have seen of mantra is she defends those she has no problem with.. she says it from a personal side.. not what goes on between others..

maybe in the past she did get involved and did take sides.. but she doesnt anymore..and thats what I call THE POINT..... she has learned a lesson if that was the case.. and if it wasnt then I am sorry I mentioned it mantra..

all I know is.. I very much doubt it is Mantra, AG.  In fact, I'd say it is not Mantra.  Much more like the banned Neferti.  Looks far more like her, but that can only be investigated by a GMod.  I don't have access to the relevant information.

Hopefully a GMod has had a look and acted.

I go by the wording Aussie- it is not Neferti's- and isn't it strange that although Mantra was down the  bottom the whole time- not a word in her own defence ? Did you miss the part about not being from PA or did you conveniently gloss over it in your attempt to drag an innocent poster down? You are also forgetting that it was you who immediately jumped to a conclusion with no evidence then refused to drop it or apologize as you should do. I wouldnt be surprised if you continued with your little witch hunt. Its what you have been known for on many other forums, not just PA. Maybe a close look in the mirror would help you find that witch?

The forum world would need a cast of thousands to keep up with refuting all the incorrect, malicious allegations you and your socks try and smear over mainly female posters.
