Does anyone know how many votes are needed to bring on a spill at tomorrow's meeting?

Abbott can guarantee 35, the rest are up for grabs. Secret ballot means they may not all vote the way they say they will ;)

There is no certainty it will be a secret ballot.

No doubt in my mind either. BUT.....Abbott controls whether it gets to a secret ballot vote. As Chairman, he has the power to simply say......"I guage from the vibes in the Room there is no majority call for a spill. Meeting closed." |
