What have you tried  real bush tucker and what did you think?

I have tried.

Kangaroo - Liked it. Gamie.
Crocodile - not impressed - alright with lots and lots of garlic otherwise found it tasteless really
Emu - liked it. Cannot remember what it tasted like so like the matrix said... it must have tasted like chicken because everything taste like chicken
Snake - yellow belly black, tiger  - liked it... definitely tasted like chicken - cooked in the bush
Witchetty grubs -had it cooked... it was alright... cannot describe the taste... more turned off by the thought of the guts.
Fresh Water Fish - Yellow Belly, Red Fin, Murray Cod... all good
Mud Mussels from the Murray - taste - crap... forget it
Galah and Magpie - On a scout survival camp.... OK.... like gamie chicken

Bushfood (referred to as bush tucker in Australia) traditionally refers to any food native to Australia and used as sustenance by the original inhabitants, the Australian Aborigines, but it can also describe any native fauna/flora used for culinary and/or medicinal purposes, regardless of the continent or culture. Examples of Australian native animal foods (meats) include kangaroo, emu and crocodile. In particular, kangaroo is quite common and can be found in many normal supermarkets, often cheaper than beef. Other animals, for example goanna and witchetty grubs, were eaten by Aboriginal Australians. Fish and shellfish are culinary features of the Australian coastal communities.

You can keep the Kangaroo, Emu, Snake, Witchety Grubs, Galah and Magpie   :o

I have eaten Kangaroo but didn't like it.  Too gamey for me, but I know lots of people love it.
