Weird that child sex dolls are even made.
The story says fighting charges. What exactly would the charge be? I don't really see a problem with it.....if he sticks to the doll, at least kids aren't being abused by him. It would be a good thing if rapists stuck to the dolls too. No one is getting hurt, although I feel a bit sorry for the dolly, the sex police must too. As an aside, I once worked with a bloke that used watermelons for sex, he said it felt the same as a woman lol!!!!!!....I never put my fruit in the tea room fridge again. |

What exactly would the charge be? If you read the article there apparently is a law referring to child sex material ? I find this strange and unsettling, rather outrageous. I would think that for someone with this problem it is a better solution than the real thing. I suppose the other side of the argument is that this could lead to real attacks on children. I do not know if that would be true. |

Better ban all sex toys & porn then as well.
for goodness sake if it saves one child from being a victim of a paedophile/sexual abuse then what's the problem? Too many wankers in positions of authority trying to justify their existence. What if the bloke was a dwarf & wanted something more to his stature? Too many "what ifs" |

What if he was a teacher of one of your children? Would you feel comfortable with that? What if he was a priest? I really don't know whether the doll would provide a harmless outlet or encourage them to progress to the real thing. That one I would have to leave to the psychology experts. Now that the police and security agencies have all these extra powers it shouldn't be too hard for them to keep such a person under surveillance. Perhaps even keep them in secret detention without charge. |
Title: Re: should this be allowed? (warning may offend) Post by Team Knight Errant Grappler on Nov 9th, 2014 at 10:01am
No - banned. My question is :- What kind of utterly warped mind would come up with such a doll?
Another cheap Asian import? A global economy where anything goes... well, I suppose we all knew that already.... "Asians will become middle class consumers of high quality finished goods" (and then lapse into utter decadence for want of any need to go out and catch dinner)... |

Sounds like a storm in a teacup. A great deal of moral outrage and hysteria which has been whipped up over what in reality is very little.
Everybody has their own private sex fantasies. Some sicker than others. Paedophilia is unlawful. However, for such a thing to be judged Paedophilia, a live human child must be involved. This is a sex toy. If the Paedophile had imported a rubber vagina, and fantasised about it being that of a young female child, would the authorities have known and stopped it? So what if that rubber vagina is surrounded by plastic in the shape of a human body? How does that really change things? Paedophiles are sick individuals. They need help. However, charging him with Paedophilia over a rubber doll? I'm sorry, that is simply ridiculous. ::) |

(warning may offend) Post by Dame Pansi on Nov 9th, 2014 at 5:33pm Seriously, what people get up to in the privacy of their own homes/bedrooms is nobodies business as long as no one gets hurt and in this case the plastic doll has no feeling. Don't tell our pedo friend that though, I wouldn't be surprised if the thing cries, it's freaking sick. Do the adult sex dolls have recorded messages/sounds built in? Wouldn't it be fun if you get hold of someones ( wear rubber gloves) and put a different tape in.......eeeer little weaner (laughing) |

There a more people out there with predatory inclinations not just paedophiles.
We have laws covering any behaviour deemed illegal. What someone does in the privacy of their home is no ones business. There are many people with kinky sexual fetishes.... You better round them all up as well. It's a load of BS .... Unless he breaks the law ... & who says he will... It's a non issue. Maybe we should prevent people drinking alcohol because it conditions/causes people to do stupid & illegal things... Including child sexual abuse. |

I would think any reasonable person would think someone smacking a doll that was representing a child to be somewhat distasteful and sick.
Obviously that belief is not universal. Diversity innit. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee. |

Listen knucklehead no one has said they think it's OK. And it's not supporting paedophilia. What's been said has been questioning why it would be illegal & what charges would be laid. Also said about what people do behind closed doors sexually as consenting adults or carrying out their fantasies/fetishes/ kinky shyte is no ones business. I think you should be monitored to see that you're all above board in the bedroom & that your sexual preferences don't go beyond the Puritan requirements of the missionary position & for procreation purposes only. You sanctimonious t/wat. |

A similar linkage is that most pirates are also male therefore theres a linkage between being male and being a pirate. It comes under the classification, correlation does not equal causation. |

So what is everyone else who's not actually having sex with another human being..... Whether that be, using sex aids, sex toys or adult sized sex dolls, is OK? But someone using a small a smaller version whether or not he is a paedophile or potential paedophile or not Is a criminal for doing so but all the other sexually deviant ( being not normal like you ::) ) people are above reproach?
