Entitled 'What happened to global warming' the ABC's Catalyst program last night probably sucked in a lot of viewers -- like me -- who had even a modicum of doubt that we were being told the whole truth about global warming, climate change, C02 pollution etc.

The program starts out in the tried-and-tested 'hit piece' formula of seemingly supporting the antithesis of the ruse, which ushers in carbon taxing, Emission trading schemes, cap-and-trade etc.  We see the 'Climategate' email doozy from Kevin E. Trenberth, and there's even a cameo appearance from Lord Monckton.  But gradually Trenberth emerges as credible and all those who have opposing views are labelled 'skeptics' and deniers.  And guess what the message really is folks?  Maybe we got rid of the in-your-face carbon tax, but then there's always Al Gore's ETS -- so we'd better keep pushing the global warming/climate change barrow.   

wait, let's all put our chickens in the free-hand of the dismal science basket and hope it doesn't come home to throw the baby out   :D :D :D like wtf buddy!

I actually gave the program the flick about one third in -- didn't get to the part about the chickens. 

Catalyst unfortunately pushed the same old tired message ... global warming is real because we said so ... if only they had provided some sort of real science to back that claim up but alas scientific proof of man made global warming does not exist.  :(
