The Golden Rule about Moderation of a Member Run Board is pretty simple.....if you don't like it......don't post there.  If you are referring to a Global Moderator, you'll have to be much more specific, and ~ 'get yer glad rags orf.'

This forum is owned by Freediver (who I would guess is the 'certain mod' you are referring to), so Freediver's rules do trump any opinions you or the rest of us may have..Which is not really a problem for most of us, since normal people understand the 'my house my rules' concept.

Well, on the one hand I would not necessarily disagree with your initial point. However, I am quite suspicious that you only notice one person's (mod or otherwise) intolerance on this board.

As to "is this the norm", well as far as intolerance goes, it certainly borders on it, I would respectfully suggest you may be exhibiting more than a little intolerance yourself...

Not sure I grasp the relevance of the question, but, since you ask.... It is a label applied to describe a wide range of people of no specific social grouping per se, that is ultimately describing these people as lesser individuals.

Of course, bogan often describes people from specific locations rather than someone born with a developmental delay, or suffering ABI etc. There are some obvious distinctions about that which I am sure you are intelligent enough to work out (i.e. I am fairly confident I do not need to spell the ones I can think of out for you).

I've never heard of a black bogan before. It's a derogatory word for poor white people branding them unfashionable, socially inept ,behind the times and of a low IQ. It's the same  word as the A word to describe aboriginal people. It's freely used in the media and widely in society and  accepted because it deals with poor white people.

I pointed out that you are not qualified to speak for "everybody" because, quite frankly you are not, you don't have that right. Now if you took that to mean I was saying you are stupid then my apologies for the misunderstanding. I would ask, respectfully, that in future you work on avoiding speaking for me (by extension of using terms like "everybody or everyone etc".) so we can both avoid any further confusion. Considering unapologetically calling someone "stupid", and then calling what seems to be a whole lot of someone's "snots" is outside of the parameters (biased or otherwise).

By all means though, it is not my place to tell you what to write or not write, hence I merely asked you respectfully to refrain from speaking on my behalf. I thought it a reasonable request, clearly we differ there, so when you speak on my behalf in the future, I will endeavour to pull you up short again - no worries.

In a different thread you "attacked" me because I supposedly have no individuality and repeat the same thing over and over, making you no better than anybody else doing the exact same thing that I "repeat".

If you are of "right-wing" orientation, perhaps you will be booted off and your suspicions will prove to be correct. That remains to be seen.

I don't use the word bogan, my view of a bogan is that of a lifestyle -- there are people out there who are proud of being bogans, again, it's down to interpretation, context, and whether you choose to be offended by something or not.
