Title: Sex In The Future Post by Taipan on Jul 24th, 2014 at 1:39am
Sexuality of the Future
In the future, people will no longer bond and create families. 'The couple will no longer be the principal base for life and sexuality. [People] will prefer to choose, in full transparency, polygamous or polyandrous loves.' The driving force of this trend is technology that frees youth from parental control. The first was the radio, which allowed the young: 'To dance outside the ballrooms and therefore be free of parental supervision- liberating sexuality, opening them to all kinds of music, from jazz to rock, and thus announcing youth's entry into the world of consumption, of desire, and of rebellion.' A media-dominated culture will create an egocentric populace who 'will be loyal only to themselves.' With lovers failing to mate for life, 'the world will be no more than a juxtaposition of solitudes, and love a juxtaposition of masturbations.' The elite goal is to remove love from sex so that they control reproduction. Attali writes that in the twentieth century, society 'sought to evacuate the reproductive role of sexuality by making motherhood artificial, by using increasingly sophisticated methods- pills, pre-mature labor, in vitro fertilization, surrogate mothers.' In the future, society 'will even go so far as to dissociate reproduction and sexuality. Sexuality will be the kingdom of pleasure, reproduction that of machines.' Future generations 'will manufacture the human being like a made-to-measure artifact, in an artificial uterus, which will allow the brain to further develop with characteristics chosen in advance. The human being will thus have become a commercial object.' http://henrymakow.com/attali.html |

Dear Sir Taipan,
Please read Issaac Asimov's Elijah Baley & Robots series (of which the movie I,Robot was based upon one of the novels) ...and the section of the Solarians. A world of people who are 'cared' for by Robots who do everything. Of how they become so 'isolated' to committing/bonding to anything, that in time - they can no longer 'biologically touch' one another for fear of infection. Sure they live a very long time 1,000 years. But 'Sterility - only breeds Fragility'. I've seen this myself when working some 'Food Mass Productions' like Poultry. This scenario has been around for ages. Asimov works it well into his novels. Neurosurgeons have proven, via many types of 'images' from ultrasounds, scans, etc. That the brain 'develops' with people who 'bond' a long-lasting relationship with one another. This 'development' express something akin to 'knowing what the other is thinking' and has fired up debate upon it being the reason behind 'psychic' abilities and research into identical Twins for such is also being conducted. In North America: Its the Artistically orientated people who have lasting relationships - although they are 'poor', while the wealthier Politically empowered people are the ones with the high divorce rates, sex scandals, affairs, and other sad 'marital' experiences. |

The poor and down trodden will continue to rely on sex to procreate while the new super humans may choose artificial means while still enjoying sex for recreation.

Of course he does. Hes one of the Elites pet "predictive programmers". That's the whole purpose of writing those novels. It gives people a type of familiarity with the subject matter so that when the actual concept is brought into society people wont resist it. Worked on your feeble little mind quite well didn't it. |

Actually TAIPAN
Tradition (it is written) creates Predictability. If Jules Verne writes about Submarines - there will be those that make that a 'reality'. Or Star-Trek's 'mobile phone', etc. But hey, I may be 'Down Under' to that way of life up there in North America. But I am also a Day Ahead of all that is dreamed about - back there at the End of the World. ...so Cods. Wanna meet up and have Sex? :) |

Title: Re: Sex In The Future Post by Mnemonic on Aug 30th, 2014 at 12:56am
In the past, people had to get married before they could have sex.
Now you can get sex without first being married. Maybe the next step is to replace sex with masturbation. In the future, people will get sexual pleasure by masturbating instead of having sex. Stigma-free masturbation will replace free sex and people will rebel against the idea that masturbation is an ugly, unholy act, that wasting sperm is a sin and un-Jewish/un-Christian/un-Islamic. After all, a real, close encounter with the opposite sex is repulsive enough that anyone would rather watch porn instead. It's more enjoyable watching someone else have sex than actually doing it yourself. Sex carries the risk of you being evaluated for your ability to trigger an orgasm (virility), as well as the risk of being accused of obtaining unwanted sex and having rape and molestation charges being brought against you. Masturbation and porn as ways of obtaining sexual gratification are far safer than actually having real sex because there's no chance of hurting anyone. It's also safer in the sense that there is less risk receiving STDs (the probability of there being HIV/AIDS virus particles in your hand is negligible). Therefore, in the future, men will donate their sperm to a sperm bank and women who want children will use IVF. Children will either grow up with willing foster parents instead of their biological parents or grow up as "orphans" raised by the government. Either way, they will never see their real biological parents. Relationships require work. They are a chore. People would prefer to focus on their careers and make money than actually obtaining intimacy. Intimacy will be replaced by soap operas like Days of Our Lives, Bold and the Beautiful and Young and the Restless. People will watch relationships happen on TV in third person instead of experiencing them in first person. Fantasy and make-believe will replace reality. People will spend more time managing virtual friendships and virtual relationships than real ones using online social media and instant messaging. :D |

With a little whipped cream on top ;) Now on a serious note: sex has had its own advances in technology i.e blowup dolls, vibrators, fleshlights, butt plugs, double ended dildos, nipple clamps, etc. When sex becomes purely about pleasure and not creation, I can predict that in the near future we will have cyborg sex dolls, with realistic bodies and genitalia. People will no longer need to have relationships when they can buy a programmed cyborg doll, where they can choose both the looks and personality. Some may not even want to give the doll a personality ;) For chauvinist men, they could create a sex cyborg in the shape of a perfect woman with hair colour, boob size, vagina and butt of their choice. This doll could walk around the house and do all house work, cook all meals without complaint or protest. She would also be able to perform amazing headjobs and other fantastic feats in the bedroom. Likewise, for women who are "over the hill" they wouldn't have to stay in their boring marriages with their grumpy old farts husbands. Instead, they could buy a programmed cyborg with the perfect abs and torso, perfect hairstyle and eyes, and perfect penis. This man could walk around in nothing but a towel all day, and could praise them and tell them that they are beautiful and give them the emotional needs that they desire. If you don't think that this is a possibility, google "transhumanism". There is already a "cyborg" in existence. |

ahh yes, Fritz Lang's METROPOLIS comes to mind. Then there's Issaac Asimov's SOLARIANS in his Robot's series (following the Elijah Baley series, but pre-starting the Foundation series ...will all being written randomly down through the decades :o). We shall 'create' them in our own image ...like Gods. ;) |

Been a long time coming. It's what we were intended to achieve Seriously. Otherwise, we'll never have lift-off |

Where there are those who want to or need to have 'control',
there will always be those who are 'uncontrollable' as well. Where there are some people who 'Fall' from the Garden of Eden, there are some people who 'Rise' into the Garden of Eden. |
