What do people think about "western mystery tradition" groups like the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn?

I could not understand it.

They're often fun.

Not a particularity large group, but they seem mostly harmless.

Considering their history it seems mostly like founders wanted attention.

He was saying the Hebrew words "YHVH" to the east, "ADONAI" to the south, "EHIEH" to the west and .... well actually the forth word is a phrase which sometimes is said in the abbreviated form "AGLA".

The words are being "vibrated", but because hes using a higher pitch than most people do it sounds as though its being sung.

They are harmless.

Their goal is raising ones consciousness to the "sphere of Tiphareth" sometimes called the Christ consciousness, which corresponds to the Sun.

They use magic rituals to achieve their goals.
