I believe that Muslims place a lot of importance on learning Arabic so they can read the Koran in the original language. We have even had Muslims on here tell us that we have no right to comment on Islam because we cannot speak Arabic.

Its not compulsory for a muslim to know Arabic.

If somebody says "There is no God but Allah and that Mohamed is his final messenger" no matter what language is considered to be a muslim.

He can say it in chinese, English, African etc etc

Firstly only a man says "you are" not a god.
Secondly who says he was a muslim before he uttered it ? Muslims ?
What has he reverted to exactly, the story that he was born a muslim in the first place told by some men and written down ?
Why is there no undoing it, it is just words, as far as you know allah may not even exist thats your gamble ?
Is the "if you know what's good for you" a threat if so from whom ? muslims ? or a deity that muslims alone believes actually exists ?
