This has been discussed in a prior Thread ~ but...........it is worth a dedicated Thread. Well done Mr Light. Those youtube links are worthy of keeping central.
What a joke Abbott's Parliament is. A bloody disgrace. Bishop must......well ~ should ~ feel absolutely humiliated, given this public disclosure of her sheer partisan wankery. She is Pyne's stamp licking puppet! |

I wish someone like longweekend, or Soren or Grendel et al would turn up and attempt a credible defence of what is such obvious evidence of the corruption of the independance of The Speaker.
Or Andrei ~ are those images a projection of what you reckon is a hatred of mine Andrei, or are they totally removed from any emotion you want to impute to me? |

.
It's recorded for posterity, the whole thing Bishop should have walked over to Pyne and laid him out cold Then she should have tossed her trinkets of office on the floor, bellowed like a cow in labour, rent her hair-helmet asunder and disembowelled herself right there on the floor of the house Instead, poor ageing woman stood as instructed, shoulders stooped from years of mixing with pansy boys and crooks in suits Was it worth it, Bronwyn? Is this how you imagined you be in your 70s? Is this what you worked and tried and backstabbed and lied for ? Was it bloody worth it ? Next question: Would Pyne have done the same if the Speaker had been male ? Will we ever know ? Who is Pretty Boy Pyne's secret backer? |

so to be quite correct it is the mincing prancing jesuit poodle moving bishop in parliament enjoy your freedom http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/jesuit-old-boys-now-our-leaders/story-fn59niix-1226718806547 Jesuit old boys now our leaders GERARD WINDSOR THE AUSTRALIAN SEPTEMBER 14, 2013 12:00AM Tony Abbott, left, Christopher Pyne and Joe Hockey all received a Jesuit education. Picture: Kym Smith Source: TheAustralian AUSTRALIA has just four schools under the care of the Jesuits: St Ignatius, Riverview, and St Aloysius in Sydney; Xavier in Melbourne; and St Ignatius, Athelstone, in Adelaide. Yet in the present parliament, the prime minister-elect, Tony Abbott, and the leader-in-waiting of the Nationals and hence the deputy prime minister-in-waiting, Barnaby Joyce, are Riverview old boys. The next treasurer, Joe Hockey, is an old Aloysian, and the future leader of government business and education minister, Christopher Pyne, is an old boy of Athelstone. The new Nationals member for Lyne, David Gillespie, is also an old Riverview boy, a classmate of Abbott. The prominence of Jesuit ex-pupils is often enough remarked on but usually with the implication that the label "Jesuit" has an identifiable, well-known and stable meaning. It doesn't. There is a simplistic and inaccurate assumption, for example, that Jesuit products, like Jesuits themselves, will be sophisticated, urbane, cultured, learned, cunning; more or less like those other Jesuit old boys: Descartes, Rousseau, Voltaire, Alfred Hitchcock, Fidel Castro and Robert Mugabe. This is absurd, of course, but a belief lingers that there must be something in it. and so it is namaste - : ) = |

Well all I can say is this stinks worse than a blocked toilet !
This little episode proves once and for all that there is no democracy in parliament. If politicians were serious about having an objective speaker of the house than they would not have a paid up member of the coalier or laybore party in the job. Clearly the speaker of the house is the ruling parties' puppet and nothing more. A intelligent solution would be to get some one outside of politics to take on the job. It would have to be someone with no political affiliations or history of politics. I can't see it ever happening though. It seems to me the sole purpose of the speaker of the house nowadays is to quell opposition. |

Parliamentary Rules. Speaker and Chair. Pyne belittled, insulted and showed great contempt to the Speaker and the Chair. Office of Her Royal Majesty is not for belittlement, insult and contempt by any Politician. Officer of Her Royal Majesty is not for belittlement, insult and contempt by any Politician. . Pyne by his action of such unprecedented insult and contempt to Her Royal Majesties Office and Her Royal Majesties Officer, see him excluded from the House. Record of pyne's action now with the Speaker and Parliament to be progressed at hearing of the House. |

He is loathsome little man who up until this incident used remind me of Alexander Downer. The difference is that Mr Downer would not have used such colourful language language on the leader of the opposition. Mr Pyne is courageous, stupid or both for stooping to such a low level.
He should have been thrown out of parliament for bringing question time into disrepute because has the moral fibre of a drug dealing sex trafficker, the charisma of an accountant and the charm of a drill sergeant. |

From June 2016, the Federal Government wants to change the rate at which all higher education loans are indexed, meaning the effective interest rate would go from CPI to as high as 6 per cent. The Education Department's website states it would apply to all existing debt, but Education Minister Christopher Pyne seemed to indicate something different as he defended the change. "Anybody who was enrolled before May the 14th, nothing will change in terms of their arrangements," he told Insiders yesterday. Mr Pyne's office said he was referring to any fee changes not impacting on current students, but that was not the question he was asked. His comments drew a swift response from Labor and the Greens, who say they will not compromise on any element of the Government's plan. AUDIO: Labor and Greens not willing to compromise (AM) There are around $5 billion worth of savings measures in the higher education budget, but the vast majority are currently unlikely to pass the Senate without negotiation. "Either he doesn't understand his own policy, or he has deliberately misled the Australian people after the election, as well as before the election," said Kim Carr, Labor's education spokesman. Greens education spokeswoman Lee Rhiannon said: "Either the Minister deliberately lied when he made the statement, or he doesn't understand his own budget changes". |

Christopher Pyne and the adults in charge Barry Everingham 16 May 2014, 8:30pm Christopher Pyne has been widely pilloried for his disgraceful behaviour in Parliament yesterday and his extreme education policies, so why do some conservatives still find him so alluring? Senior correspondent Barry Everingham reports. The Bishop and Pyne C. The thought that adults are in charge of the country now is laughable when one considers the infantile behaviour of the so-called 'Leader of the House' Christopher Pyne — also, somewhat disturbingly, Australia's education minister. Christopher Pyne's behaviour in several incidents yesterday (15/5/14) in Parliament would have surprised nobody. In fact, had former Prime Minister John Howard been watching – which he no doubt was – his long wariness of Pyne would have been vindicated; Howard allegedly refused to install Pyne in a significant role whatsoever. It’s said he predicted that, one day, Pyne would cause a significant scandal, bringing ill-repute upon the Liberals. Of course, Pyne being a key cabinet minister says more about Tony Abbott than it does about Pyne. One of Abbott’s first moves after he got the leadership – with, strangely enough, Peter Slipper’s vote – was to elevate Pyne and the dreadful Sophie Mirabella to the front bench. Tony is not only lacking in the milk of human compassion — he is also short in identifying the character of some of his colleagues. Turnbull would wear neither Pyne nor Mirabella. Earlier in the day, before Shorten wowed Australia with a Budget Reply full of passion and spirit, the low character Pyne was on full disgusting show. Not content with sneering and catcalling his way through Question Time, Pyne's stood and snarled to Shorten across the despatch box: “You're such a cu*t!” |
