Yes but be fair—women repelled Combover Man first.
Hmm yesterday I had my poached eggs in passata, today my lovely neighbor’s daughter came over and gave me a chocolate Easter Bunny so this year the egg came before the bunny. ;D |

The rabbit is a Germanic Pre-Christian symbol dating to around the 7th century AD. The egg is a very ancient symbol of regeneration and dates back to Sumerian times.
Ergo, the egg has it. If you want the Christian origins of the Easter Egg, there are a number of possibilities. The most interesting is the omphalos, or the navel symbol. The omphalos has a significance of communication with the gods. This is the omphalos from Delphi, which was where the oracles "communicated" with the gods. In fact the oracle at Delphi was exposed to some harmful volcanic gases and it's not surprising that they rambled a lot. |

“A bald hairy man. . .” sounds nonsensical yet makes sense.
