Title: Advantages of electric vehicles.. Post by Deathridesahorse on Apr 19th, 2014 at 12:06pm
Are there any advantages of electric vehicles, other than the assumed reduction of carbon emissions, that can be used to sell the concept?
Let us name them here... Regarding fire in the event of collision: is there any advantage here? ** the truth is your friend ! |

One advantage is that it could allow us to have a manufacturing industry
exporting them all around the world. If the Pollies had listened to Nail we wouldn't have all the car factories closing down. |

Ah!! ...nice ;D Many a mum and dad are dodgy as over the timing of free trade deals- free trade that even Judith Sloane says are actually preferential trade deals whilst Barnaby Joyce simply calls them euphemisms, those free trade 'deals'- with the manufacturing shenanigans! Baby boomers are disgusted at their represented legacy! Yes they are indeedy...! Where are the feminists in all this...' Oh, we don't have a voice!!' There are no feminists!! |

Well, they can be low carbon footprint as long as the electricity isn't coal fired. That's a big IF. The more people buy them, the less chance there is of that happening, and the more expensive the electricity will become. Apart from that, they leave ICE vehicles standing. The acceleration of EVs is the stuff of legends. |

Combustion engine Steam has lower Carbon emission than any form of electricity generation aside from hydro. It out powers and out performs any electric vehicle. It consist of free floating valves and one moving part. It banned from Australia as it might be fuelled by Diesel or Petrol, both provide steam heat above +600*C. Alternate Carbon engine is same however the Carbon heating is not done by combustion. Carbon engine comes to life by heat commencing at -40*C. The Das Engine heated +30*C to +50*C has identical energy output as a coal fired power station. DaS_USE.png (13 KB | 74

Cornering and braking are not very impressive with electric vehicles, the weight of the battery packs is a handicap. I do like the current F1 engines that combine an electric motor with ICE, the new Mc Laren can drive around 6 miles on the battery pack before turning the ICE on which recharges batteries. |

Electric cars are like tattoos and smoking, they clearly indicate the dumb and easily misled fools who are to be avoided.

Electric cars are great! Rechargeable electric cars are bullshit! The attached turbine generator commences at -30C heat its forces at +50*C are that of +600*C steam driving a 350 megawatt turbine. Freezer_Fridge_001.png (47 KB | 62

Electric cars are great! Rechargeable electric cars are bullshit!
How come?
Carbon Dioxide-CO2-R744 is natural refrigerant with expansion to heat far greater than air or steam and for extremely less heat. CO2 turns cold when allowed to expand, this requires a very small cooling area easily fitting any engine. Having CO2 as drive agent to a hydro turbine creates a hydro turbine engine of 80% efficiency. Heating for the engine drive can be absorbed or applied by other means. Industry and University charts show the turbine generator produce 740 watts for each litre flow per second. The turbine generator itself may be able to supply it own heat needs and more is recorded by the figures. CO2 heat from +30*C to +50*C produces 16KW for each one litre of CO2 rotated per second. It Takes 0.076KW to heat one litre of water in one second (Watlow PDF). The force of CO2 +50*C (200 bar) to +100*C provides 8,000 bar force or 640KW of which 380KW is required for electric heating of the CO2. All the forces are easily contained by Stainless Steel. It is a federal offence to use either Diesel or Petrol in the modern internal combustion steam engine as they create steam beyond +600*C (200 bar, 200 bar force drives a 350 megawatt generator) so Ethanol must be used.
A Diesel piston engine, flame 1200*C air expansion x 5 at best. 400 bar less compression energy 200 bar. DaS_Steam_Engine.png (13 KB | 27
