NSW, mid January:
Riverina, over 8,000 hectares lost to the fire.
Bathurst 300 hectares of forest burned.
Minjary over 2,675 hectares of scrubland burned.

Queensland, early January:
Stradbroke Island - over 8,500 hectares of bushland burnt out.  More than 90 firefighters needed to bring blaze under control.  Fifty people evacuated.

South Australia, mid January:
Over 24,000 hectares of scrub and grassland and seven homes lost to fires in the Barossa Valley.
Over 19,000 hectares of scrub and grassland and six homes lost to fires in the Flinders Ranges.
Fires in Billiatt Conservation Park

Victoria, mid January:
Fire in northern Grampians National Park burns out 55,000 hectares and claims 90 structures, 32 homes and 3,000 sheep.

Western Australia, early January:
Over 13,300 hectares burnt in Mount Roe National Park, smoke reaching Perth, 500 kilometres away.
Over 650 hectares burnt in Parkerville and over 400 hectares in Mundaring fire.  52 homes and one life lost.

South Australia, early February:
Fires in Belair National Park and at Bangor.  Catastrophic fire warning issued.

Victoria, early February:
"Weekend of extreme weather conditions" sees more than ten fires burning in Victoria.  Homes destroyed included "Seven in Kilmore; four in Mickleham, Victoria; three in Warrandyte; two in Wunghnu; two in Glenaladale; and one each in Beveridge, Yarram and Walpa" - probably more.

NSW, mid March:
Fire destroys 1,600 hectares in the Gwydir Wetlands near Moree.

Because whoever was lighting them probably stopped doing it.
