What's the point?

# will just ban you again. Unless, of course, you drink the Kool-Aid and admit that AGW is "an undeniable scientific fact".

If you're not prepared to do that, # will just keep banning you (and me, of course).

Of all the people on this forum, he's the one least qualified to be a mod.  He wouldn't know the meaning of the word "objective" if it jumped up and bit him on the arse.

I couldn't care less if he wants to ban me, but I do object to his unscientific stance when it comes to climate change.

He has absolutely zero interest in debating the topic: all he wants to do is dictate his opinion and deride anyone who disagrees with his views.

He's ruining the 'Environment' board for everyone.

I noticed hashtag is spamming the enviroment board with idiotic global warming religious shite in order to bump out the real scientific questions that his religion has decreed must be silenced  ;D

Start a new board for your "side" . . . .

And, he's banning anyone who doesn't subscribe to his theory.

In one thread someone (not me) mentioned the Russian Academy of Sciences and their opposition to the AGW theory.

As a goodwill gesture I posted the name Habibullo Ismailovich Abdussamatov.  As everyone knows, he is an AGW sceptic and the supervisor of the Astrometria project of the Russian section of the International Space Station and the head of Space research laboratory at the Saint Petersburg-based Pulkovo Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

However, this wasn't good enough for #.

And, seeing as he seems to be incapable of doing any research of his own, he banned me for not providing further links.

In my efforts to try and help, I received a ban.  Incredible!

Moreover, he is threatening to continue banning me (as well as continuing with thinly-veiled personal insults of me and other forum members).

Is this the sort of mod we want on this forum?

well today I visited the environment board just to sticky you understand...its the most boring subject.


have to admit it looks very much like one of those boards where people just talk to themselves...usually 3 or 4 posters on any given day..

I am surprised you are upset at being banned I would have thought it a blessing

The ban doesn't bother me in the slightest.

It's a matter of principle.

I think the standard of board moderators is slipping.

Mods, at the very least, should be objective when moderating.

Here ya go.  I've provided the vehicle where you can all have at it.....with zero to little concern about bans or other stifling of discussion from the Moderator (errr ~ me.)

I'm not sure how to make this any clearer. Do not post complaints about the mods of the member run boards here. Stop using the board if you do not like how it is run. I will close the feedback board if you cannot take the hint. Another rule - no drama queening on the feedback board.
