Title: Lord Monckton tells it like it is..........!!!! Post by Ajax on Oct 31st, 2013 at 7:21am
Lord Monckton tells the truth about climate change and its impact on humanity.
Worth a view from believers and unbelievers alike, to understand the impacts of the nazi environmental program that has swept the world and world governance by these pigs. Lord Christopher Monckton Speaking in St. Paul http://youtu.be/stij8sUybx0 |

Monckton is an entertainer. He gets paid to say what his audience wants to hear, so he says what the audience wants to hear. |

Ohh.....and which part of that video is light hearted entertainment for you. 1. The part about the third world....??? 2. The pseudo science and dishonesty of the IPCC. 3. The amount of times the IPCC corrected their bullsh!t science after Monckton complained.....and even the times where they just shifted that part to another section in the hope that it would be overlooked. 4. Global governance of all peoples...??? Please tell......???? |

OK, firstly my apologies Ajax I have not watched the film right through because of some time constraints from real life at the moment. I will endeavour to get the time to watch it soon (no promises though cause home front stuff takes precedence).
Now, I did manage to get about twenty minutes spare, so watched about the first ten or fifteen. I would make a couple of points about some things that stood out to me though. The insignificant and unimportant (overall) firstly, whilst the "spade a spade" comment was a pretty funny joke, that is basically all it amounted to. It is not actually all that relevant to the overall debate, nor is it demonstrable or based particularly in fact - it was at best an opinion turned into a witty bit of opening banter. However, it does kind of set the stage as it were for the direction to come, i.e IPCC = evil and misleading. Whilst they may not be all knowing and correct at every turn, the same can be said for the other side of the argument. The comments about pollution and squalor being worse in "poorer" non western countries was also not entirely honest, or, at least a thorough and clear analysis of the real situation. Most of the wealthier western countries have large corporate interests operating in those poor countries where the squalor is appalling (or words that effect) according to Mr Monckton. In point of fact, we do have some significant input into the pollution in those places and, as such, do continue to make profits from rampant polluting. Then we have the quoted bit about Genisis from the Bible. Mr Monckton says that Chapt 1 Vs 22 mentions something about us being the Stewards of the Planet and goes on about our responsibility to look after it from the Christian Bible. Let me post for you Chapt 1 Vs 22 firstly, "22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth." Now, I am no theological expert at all, but, I have not managed to find a direct reference to man being a steward of the earth and all its creatures etc. I am sure someone well versed may find it. The important point though, is that already in the opening minutes Mr Monckton has chosen to quote from the bible, in support of his speech, and (to my mind at least) I have demonstrated that, what he quoted was wrong and may not even exist in Christian text and, therefore, a bit of (if not a blatant one) disregard for facts. As I said, I will endeavour to listen/watch the whole thing when I can (an hour and a half), but, forgive my skeptisism in advance that, with a cursory check already, I am concerned that the only way to respond to this now would be to watch it, then go through every single point with a fine tooth comb to demonstrate either its voracity or it deceptiveness. I will be perfectly honest, I am probably not prepared to do that much work on one speech of one bloke who, in my opinion, has not been 100% clear, honest and up front about the information that he delivers. Yep, I know right, I have horribly pre judged the bloke without watching the whole thing, what a terrible person I am. Of course, Mr Monckton is not unfamiliar with public speaking so, in my defence (I know I am defending the indefensible really...) I have seen and heard him speak before. I have also seen/read reviews of some of his "questionable" statements, comments, positions etc. Bottom line, I think he is about as reliable as you think IPCC is. That is my opinion though. Of course, I realise too that I have only picked up some stuff from his opening comments and we haven't even reached the AGW information yet - however, given what I have picked up, I hope that you can understand my scepticism here.... |

I don't agree with you here, because its the other side that generally points out the mistakes of the IPCC rather than the IPCC after all its reviewing constantly prints misleading information. like for example no glaciers by 2013, the hot spot in the tropopause, the missing heat is in the deep oceans or was that the upper layers....??? There prediction of unequivocal warming of 0.2 degree celcius per decade. The hockey stick and how they first showed the medieval warm period and mini ice age and then took it out......!!! The fact that they blame all the warming on manmade CO2 when we are coming out of a mini ice age. There really are so many holes in the armour its not funny. And yet you and I will be slugged with financial slavery for ever based on pseudo science of the IPCC. Quote:
Again I don't agree with you, if you lift the people out of poverty and give them things like rubbish disposal etc. The third world cities would probably not have hills of rubbish on their out skirts. Have you seen the squaller in shanty towns how can you think these conditions come anywhere near the west's standard of living...???? Quote:
How can we control corporations that go over to the third world countries and exploit them, paying them a dollar a day and using child slave labour....????? I don't see how we can control corporations in the third world when we cannot control corporations in the west. |

As far as I can remember we are suppose to be the stewards of the Earth in accordance with Gods commandment. I don't think God would be happy that we are destroying the planet because of our greed, a planet that he put under our control. I found this, but not all bibles are exactly the same. Quote:

Apart from his clowning around with jokes, I think he's sincere and believes what he preaches. Unlike our mate Al Gore who tells us lower Manhattan will be under water in 100 years and then he goes out and buys a $4 million dollar condo at the waters edge. Or that its the end of the world and the only salvation we have is carbon pricing on wall street, he then creates the Chicago Climate Exchange to trade carbon credits. Dear Al will be our first carbon billionaire. http://hockeyschtick.blogspot.com.au/2010/11/gore-pocketed-18-million-from-now.html Quote:
Everyone has an opinion you are entitled to yours. Quote:
Not at all, I just said that its worth a view because I believe what he's saying. If you don't believe him it doesn't make you a bad person. I mean I don't believe one word Al Gore has spoken about AGW, it doesn't make me a bad person..where's chimpy...??? Quote:
Fair enough, I can't argue with that, we all have to make up our own minds. Quote:
Cool with me dude.................. 8-) 8-) 8-) |
