Title: Northern Territory Uni awards rising star
Post by Karnal on Apr 13th, 2013 at 8:44pm
The Northern Territory University will announce the winner of its honourary degree in Medical Science in Darwin tonight. This year, the rcipient is tipped to be a former student of the NTU.

Sources say candidates must have made a significant contribution to the "social, scientific or political life of this country". Former recipients include scientists, inventors, specialists, and a member of the Ryde Greens.

Thoughts?

No, Skippy, Woof Woof is a single mother from Queensland. I don’t think she’d be elligible. You have to have made a valuable contribution to the nation.

Political Animal might be in for a chance though.

If the award includes a salad bowl I will hack into NTUs files and, after giving him numerous 'Summa Cum Laude' across all fields of endeavour, nominate Armchair Politician.

News from Darwin: the Vice Chancellor of the Northern Territory University has announced the winner of the 2013 honorary degree in Medical Science, "for his service to policy formulation, environmental activism and animal welfare".

The award will go to Matty.

Let’s all congratulate Matty for this prestigious award. This means he can now go onto medical school and fulfill his dream of becoming a specialist.

This should shut the leftards up once and for all.

The leftards just can’t stomach the fact that Matty has always gotten what he wants, and he’s never had to try too hard for it either. The leftards want everyone to suffer like they have - in awful public housing estates and Aboriginal settlements and institutions and God knows what else.

Matty fills them full of class envy. Well, guess what, leftards, people like Matty will continue to rule this country, even if they are in New Zealand. You won’t be laughing when Mr Abbott gets in. He could run Australia from Timbuktu and do a better job than JuLiar.

When our side gets back in, Matty will return, I’m certain of it.

That’s if he doesn’t have any problems with his new medical practice in Dunedin.

Thoughts?

Don't worry, Adel, I hear Matty has Barnaby on his side already and he will sort it.

That’s a hard one, Adelcrow. Matty may need to revoke his citizenship of these countries. I’ll address this with him when I see him.

Still, why shouldn’t Matty hold dual citizenship? In fact, why should he need to be elected at all? It’s just a stupid ritual to make dumb leftards think they have a say.

I might be alone, but I know his return will be thunderous.

what a misogynist thing to say..

motherhood..nothing and no one can prepare you for it..from the labourward onwards... and you call that not a valuable contribution..

and on her own  makes it ten times harder..

I’m sorry, Cods, you’re right. You’ve made me wake up and see.my mistake.

Of course Woof Woof has made a contribution to her family - this is what a mother does. This is her role in society.

But to think poor Woof Woof has invented anything or contributed something great to our nation as a whole - I’m sure you’ll agree. The very thought is ludicrous.

But thank you, dear, for contributing your thoughts. Much appreciated.

Now, don’t you have some dishes or something waiting?

How exactly is it "misogynist"? A single mothers contribution to society may be a hard slog but it isnt unique nor is it worthy of an educational award.

Greggery, that would mean Matty needs an honorary degree in medicine, honorary post-grad study in gynecology, and honorary membership of the Australian/New Zealand College of Gynecology.

His service to the nation would have to be pretty good to get all that. Who knows? His career could take off in a number of directions, depending on all the honorary degrees he gets.

If he's lucky, he might get an honorary Certificate in Health and Hygiene Studies to join Mistie at the uni.

Do you have a picture of that?

Also, he has never served his country in the theatre of war. I would like this duly noted.

Matty escaped the draft because New Zealand doesn't have one. Lucky Matty doesn't live in Singapore.

If he did, we'd lose him to the army when his strengths are clearly in Medical Science.
