so presumably... under Newman... we can do away entirely with government ministers responsible for Transport, Education , Health , Protective services, Aged Care , Manufacturing, Environment, and the rest,,, cos the private companies will look after all that.... yeah..?? it'll save money...!!
Sure would cut down on the numbers of Ministers necessary, and their salaries, and all the staff salaries of those who administered and supported of these no longer required ministers... wow... ??.. ::) I DOUBT THAT VERY MUCH.... they'll still be there... snogs in public troughs, for doing what... the job of Collection Agents?? lOOK OUT, THIS COULD BE COMING TO A GOVERNMENT NEAR you.!!!!!!!!!! |

It's pathetic 'politics.' In Qld., the LNP (and the Electorate) were damning of those sales made by Bligh. It is now clear....Bligh was right, and she (and Qld. Treasury) did not pull a "Peter Costello Audit" rabbit out of the hat......to blame. She had the initiative and balls to do it and take the heat. The Can't needs a "Costello" to point at.....when the Electorate again opposes the concept.

Not only is Queensland the disaster state thanks to the denialists and global warming it will also be the unemployment state thanks to the LNP ;D

Yes adelcrow, interesting you should say that. Well so far, we know that Mr Newman has got rid of 14.000 public servants. Now just where are these people supposed to go?. Let me guess, centrelink. :(

Its the Liberal answer to everything - don't know how it even makes a story - it's just a given rates with the sun rising in the east. |

They all go on the dole so the rest of the country can pay their way..Maybe the Queensland govt should pay a levy to the rest of us for the extra dole money they expect us to pay out. |

do I have any takers on a bet that Abbott will do the same thing if he wins? I'll give you odds of 5:1 ... I say Abbott will start to sell whatever he can as soon as he can, and use the 'surplus' as his excuse for doing so.

Yes, he will. Only after Costello is paid handsomely to perform an audit, and produce a 'report' so that Abbott can say......"Hey....all we are doing is what Costello said we must do. Don't blame us if it goes to custard. Blame Costello." :) |

yeah
definitely a major worry... the excuse?? so that QLD can regain its AAA credit rating with whoever..?.. some mob like Moody's ::) They've given up blaming the former Bligh Govrnment now, because they intend to go much further than Bligh proposed.. mustn't remind us of THAT.!! This government represents a serious threat to the life we have chosen, .... user pays user pays user pays...!! I ask again WHAT DO WE NEED A STATE GOVT FOR?? SO that The 'NEWMAN TEAM MEMBERS' can rip the guts out of the state.... to make profit... THAT IS NOT the role of government. It really is sickening, that its likely australians will buy into the swill fed them by media bias, and we'll have ABBOTT. Hardly bears thinking about. Pertinent to the thread on Intelligence.... gotta say... its dropped considerably in Australia...!!! |
