I actually read the link DRAY, and this 'unanticipated' increase of 'melt' is more serious than the report wants to acknowledge.

To suggest this will NOT exponentially increase from now on, is a cop out.,, and they know it, given the phrasing. They don't say ..it will go on at or greater than this rate , but say that it MIGHT NOT. ::)
They felt obliged to soften the NEWS. :-?

Tho I suspect many of us 'understand' that we are in for a hell of a ride.. many are too browbeaten, and hopeful for a last minute rescue,
to really INVEST in it. >:(

Hey.. 'forget trying not to panic people'...to those in 'authority'.. >:(.....

how about getting on with some real educating.

btw...the complex system that is the climate hasn't been fully worked out!

The precautionary principle should tell us the evidence points to a very nasty picture if we don't seriously curb our earthly habits pronto but the counter feedack mechanisms are not all known so legitimate debate is always going to be there.

The question is really whether legitimate debate is being allowed to take place!

I have only ever considered AJ as a real person, since this fracas.!!

That he is immoral, rascist, sexist, and a general allround bit of filth is clear to me.

I CAN claim objectivity, because I HAVE NEVER listened to the jerk willingly.

I do remember looking for a radio station on one of my journeys south, and , hearing the dialogue, looked for another station .... what a pile of tripe.... just shows you the standards and mentality of those who CHOOSE to listen the the creep.!!

Good on you Macquarie media.... sack him. Or post him to some small outback WA community, where he'll have to take more care of his words.
