It will happen here in the near future. People will start to get desperate to get rid of the two parties that seem to be doing nothing to help them through the tough times.
........................................................ Europe's Fringe Revival As Europe's debt crisis deepens, fringe political parties are enjoying renewed popularity. Desperate voters are looking for answers at the political extremes, reports Charles McPhedran. "Posterity weaves no garlands for imitators: the fickle mob has called for new heroes. And the heroes of yesterday have sunken into oblivion." — Bertolt Brecht, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. The European political pantheon is shifting and shaking as the continent’s financial crisis worsens. The far right has begun plotting violence and national leaders are rising and falling ever more rapidly. Electors are looking for new leaders. They are casting around, sampling ideologies and parties. An increasing number are choosing "none of the above". An anti-establishment mood is most noticeable in France and Greece, which are in the midst of election campaigns, but it is beginning to extend across much of the rest of Europe. Anger at perceived mismanagement of the euro crisis by European leaders has begun to feed into the polls. http://newmatilda.com/2012/04/16/europes-fringe-revival |

you keep believing that whiel the rest of us laugh at you. if you were even a mediocre student of political history you would see that labors problems are nothing more than the usual cyclical swing of aussie voters. 2 years ago our own buzz spent every day telling us how the liberal party was near death and he expected it to be demolished. Look how that worked out? seriously people. try understanding political history further back than the last election. |
