It may surprise you to learn spot that not every atheist spends their time interrupting debates about Islam to remind people how bad christians are and pretending they are not defending islam. In fact most atheists would probably find that behaviour a little odd. Not that I pretend to speak on behalf of atheists.

Cherry picking again i see. My incredulity was that there would be an "extremist atheist" and if there were they would be against all religion wouldn't they not just islam since atheism is a lack of belief in a deity.
