They're all guilty, but nobody wants to punish them yet.
Maybe when they're in their 80's or 90's, if they live that long. I hope not, the world will be a better place without them. |

I said in 1985 when Howard first become Opposition Leader that if he ever become Prime Minister that he would be the worst Prime Minister in Australia history and it would take a couple of generation to get back to what Australia hold close to their heart. eg A fair go for everyone, to treat everyone equal, to look after their mates.

They are criminals. They should be tried, convicted and incarcerated. For the terms of their natural lives.

Yeah, by a fake court that no one in the world recognized the authority of, not even the actual Malaysian justice system. Honestly, I couldn't give a rats ass. |

Calls for Bush, Blair, Howard to be tried for war crimes
They did illegelly invade Iraq which does constitute a war crime. That fact really can not be argued. The important thing is the strong moral grounds that they had - the mitigating risk of WMD's - Whoops sorry there were none. They illegally invaded a country and got the reason wrong - a 100,000 people died in error. Who put Larry Curley and Moe in charge of the world? They should get what they deserve but they won't. |

1. Illegal under whose law/s? Be specific, don't blurt out "um... Geneva Convention". I want to see specific bodies of law and specific statutes that were supposedly violated. 2. Does AUstralia, the UK, and/or the US recognize the authority of the body that created those laws? Dnarever wrote on Jul 2nd, 2012 at 1:44pm:
In Blair's case you need to blame the British Labor Party and everyone in the UK that voted for that party. In Howard's case blame the Liberals and people that voted for them. In Bush's case I blame the Republican party and partly myself for voting for the guy. Twice. |

I dont think - in blair or howards case that it would have been much different with a different party/person in charge. Blair had to be pressured by bush but howard was all gung ho for a war. It doesnt matter though - whoever was in power would have been made to comply with americas wishes. I dont think you can blame the voters in cases like this though unless war was an election platform. In this age we have a problem. The pollies lie. They lie through their teeth and ppl dont know what they are getting (except a liar). SOB |
