Title: Why Australians have no leaders Post by 52midnight on Jun 30th, 2012 at 4:41pm
There are two types of leaders; those who lead from in front, and those who lead from behind. Australia only ever gets the latter.
I pose to readers of this Forum the following question: "What is the first thing that a true leader must do?" As Australians, you cannot know the answer. It is this; he must first turn his back on his fellows in order to lead them forward. No one in their right mind turns their back on a mob of Australians; they'll either pull out their knives to stab you, or pull down their pants and try to f**k you. I've been stabbed in the back - repeatedly, consistently, and without exception - by every Australian I've ever trusted, as have so many others whose tales I've listened to over many, many years. A nation gets the leaders it deserves. The treasonous white trash in every Austrlian parliament today are true Australian representatives, God help you; and I'm not a depraved Abrahamic like your "Christian" leaders. |

Australia is essentially a giant carousel.
You cant lead it without running around in circles with it. If you were to jump off then the deputy would have to take over anyway until you hop back on. |

I am asking for ideas, not slogans pertaining to power.

> Do you have any ideas that you believe would lead Australia forward?
I must thank you for this. It's certainly a challenge, and one of the few responses leading towards "the light", if you'll forgive that term. Yes, I do; but given the complexity of the present Australian situation, much less the International milieu in which it is entrammelled, these cannot be simply presented or explained. Any explanatory statements I would be prepared to make must assume certain prior insights, which I can only elucidate by referring to two diagrams of my own devising. The first illustrates the present socio-political situation as the majority of readers would conceive it: http://52midnight.com/au/img/au-assumed-800x600.png and the second as a more realistic illustration of the probable reality: http://52midnight.com/au/img/au-actual-800x600.png I am neither a purveyor of "conspiracy theories" nor a promoter of them. The simple fact is that the 2008 Global Financial Crisis was a deliberate conspiracy by the entire New York banking fraternity to design and market criminally fraudulent "financial instruments" to naive and incompetent institutional investors. Their motivations in so doing must remain a matter of conjecture, but I can recommend a number of books (google "Confessions of an economic hit man") by way of enlightenment. Should you require certified proof of these assertions, I can provide them in triplicate. If any here have the perception and motivation to comment on the above diagrams, I remain happy to respond. |

And, of course, as my other post suggests, to unite in finding a new name (and all that goes with it) may eventually become the rallying-point that finally creates a nation out of a rabble. |

It is sad that aussies are backstabbers. It seems to be our culture. Just live your life without trusting anyone @ all ever and you should be fine.
However. Who do you vote for? You know they are backstabbing bastards and you have to pick 1. SOB |

I couldn't vote for anyone that would treat a fellow Australian the way they have treated Julian Assange. They don't deserve my vote and they won't be getting it. At the end of the day you have to live with your decision. |

> Do you believe we ought to unshackle ourselves from these institutions?
Yes, most certainly. Not only are they run for the benefit of the Global Power Elite (see Prof Peter Philips essay) but they impose a society and relationship with the natural world that is ultimately unstable and unsustainable. The reality, however, is that any attempt to do so would bring swift and lethal retribution. If you think that this is an exaggeration, could I recommend "Confessions of an economic hit man" by John Perkins: http://www.johnperkins.org/ You could also read "The Trillion Dollar Meltdown" by Morris and "FIASCO" by Partnoy for very deep insights into the blatantly criminal nature of Wall Street banking. Perkins states quite bluntly that he was the "nice guy", offering unsustainable loans to Third World leaders. If they refused, he departed and the jackals moved in; he names several national leaders who were assassinated following his departures. There is, obviously, no easy solution to this situation, especially as most people and all of officialdom insist that it's all just "conspiracy theories". it will need both an international arising of the peoples of the world, and their CO-ORDINATED activity and cooperation to get rid of these criminal vermin, and that's a very big ask. As irrelevant as it sounds, I believe that the only viable key to this is some sort of spiritual (NOT religious) awakening. The reality of psychic phenomena has been demonstrated scientifically time and time again; just one example: http://52midnight.com/archive/An_assessment_of_the_evidence_for_psychic_functioning.html and although these are quite different from spiritual realities (the former being temporal - i.e. "within time" - and the latter "atemporal" - i.e. "outside of time") they can arise from properly understood and directed spiritual impulses. This is obviously too large a topic for discussion here, but I thank you for a question that has allowed me to raise it. |

I decided to review this post and summarize the results for another (OS) website. It seems that no-one seriously disagrees with the main thesis. Many Ozns take overseas holidays to fraternize with the locals in such places as Thailand, Fiji, Bali etc. No-one comes to Oz to fraternize with Ozns (are you crazy?).
This should be an issue of immediate topical debate, but is too Politically inCorrect to be raised even by the supposedly "aggro" TV shows as TodayTonite, ACA, Breakfast et al. As always, the last thing that Ozns WANT to know is the truth - that they are so socially and personally repugnant as to repel ordinary decent folk. Why is this (and the reasons are both historical and current)? |

the only repugnant thing appear to be you .. have you any evidence that others don't holiday in Australia ? Australia has a pretty good tourism industry with tourists from a wide range of places ...maybe you could choose a country where the average wage is more than the cost of a beer and then see if they travel to Australia.. ... if you don't like it here piss off. |
