Title: The Australian Atheist Political Party
Post by Greens_Win on May 25th, 2012 at 10:10am
Why do (non) religionists/ or atheist cultists within the wider community say they want religion out of politics and society, yet vote in a god botherer as their local candidate. Is it because they are hypocrites. Or do they have to wait for their cult to give them permission to form a political party and gain political power via gaining seats.

Are Atheists up to pushing their religious agenda ... or are they just full of hot air?

Gillard is supposedly an atheist.

Do you know what atheist means greeny? Here it is again: An atheist does not believe in a deity. Deity means god by the way. A person who lacks belief in a god. How many times do I have to say this?

Technically an Atheist is simply someone that doesn't believe in the one and same God the three Abrahamic religions hitch their star to.

Yet I've heard her on more than one occasion say:

'They're in our prayers'

Who's prayers? and who are they praying to?

Its weird. She plays along with them. Follows the rituals. Heck I have had to "stand" in situations or sit there @ a meal waiting for them to get it over with. To be polite. Maybe thats what she is doing. I dunno. I saw QT the other day start with that silly prayer. Its silly! They should get rid of it. It has nothing to do with politics.

Thing is she prolly has to follow the rituals. I have tried NOT standing and you get abused by idiots.

If you do not believe that God created the Universe, then you are thereby ascribing his power of creation to something else. Did the universe create itself? If this is what you believe, are you not ascribing godlike powers to the universe?

Atheists are hypocrites.

Atheism programed by the Zionism onto poorly education people to keep them away from religions such as Christianity as they see Christianity as a treat to Zionist control.

Go and talk to Andrei, you'd probably have lots in common with him. Maybe you could form your own "A" party. Just don't breed. There are enough in the world A's already.

People holding personal religious views does not preclude them from being, decent, honourable, and good at their job, so merely coming from that demographic, would certainly be no reason for me, as a lifelong (since 12 anyway, when I came to realise religion was not something I could reconcile with my own personal beliefs) avowed atheist, to consider them being unworthy of receiving my political support.

However, were there two candidates, equally competent in all areas, and one was atheist, and one deist, I would on principle choose the atheist, but I would never choose a less competent atheist, over a competent deist.

They're in our prayers = They're in our consciousness. We are thinking of them.

Not all "atheists" are belligerent.

An atheist party would be pushing what barrow?

  :D :D :D

Religion is about awaiting a heavenly government so the antithesis makes no sense!

All we can say is a religious political party is hypocritical from the outset!!

Thus, the antithesis is undefined....  :D :D

(Just call me wordsleuth!!  ::) ::) )

Let's face it, belief in THE BIG BANG(which uses  undefined concepts!!) requires blind faith!
